I'm not denying that LaPo was way to conservative... but don't make it seem like Nichols was playing at an elite level. The guy struggled massively at making any intermediate passes. Night and day different in how he played after his initial injury with us. Watch the games man, look at how many times our receivers had to dive or turn back and dig out passes that were under thrown. That was WITH great protection with the best o-line in the league. Your hate for LaPo has blinded you from seeing how shitty Nichols has been the last few years. I'm sure LaPo and Ottawa will suck balls this year if they play... but just imagine how shitty Nichols will be without a great o-line and the best rb in the league. I'll be surprised if they keep him for the full season. MBT as insane as he is, he can at least throw a 20 yard pass and can at least escape some pressure without turtling. Nichols is toast.

He had guys open and running routes ... You can't blame Lapo for inaccurate passes and zero ability to escape a rush. Nichols was good before his first injury with us...after it was night and day different in his ability to make plays. How many times can you blame Lapo when Nichols struggles to make a 10 yard pass where the receiver has to dive or stop completely and turn around and scoop a ball. If Lapo was so bad then how come with Zach the offense had no issues moving the ball and the new receivers suddenly came to life and were involved in the plays. Same with two seasons ago when Strev played as a normal qb (meaning not doing gadget trick plays each time)

He went deep a few times a game.... but out side of that it was predominately dink and dunk. The guy was absolutely useless on any midrange passes or throwing to receivers in stride. Night and day difference when Collaros played at the end of the season hitting guys like Bailey at full speed.

Basic laptops/desktops are still going to run each unit at $1000. Way to expensive and then you have to factor in internet costs.... most kids even at poor schools have access to a machine. The greater challenge is having the parents co-operate and watch over the kids making sure they do their school work. I'm fortunate that my child has a great teacher and really good classmates so everyone is doing their best to keep up. Other stories I'm hearing are that many parents are treating this as an extended spring break and dumping the kids off at grandparents and/or simply loading up youtube and letting the kids keep themselves busy which is sad.

As far as I know the Ex travels across Canada to different cities. I remember seeing the "Ex" in Ottawa. My biggest issue with the ex these days is the price and the folks who attend are really sketchy. Similar to certain pop up carnivals that are around town. It seems like it attracts the bad crowd. Also the rides and everything else is heavily dated. Folklorama , I know for a few pavilions they have multiple events because the community has a lot of infighting and instead of agreeing and doing one.... they each do their own.

I think Folklorama could stand to take a few years off... to many pavilions have gone from showcasing the culture to trying to gouge people into buying over priced food and booze. The ex is also a complete dump you are not missing much or anything at all.

I do like the idea of stripping him and having Santos vs Reyes to determine the champ.... if Jon Jones comes back then just put him at HW or in super fights only..

Not to be that guy... but usually for movie sizes it's the audio that bloats up the file size so when you download at stereo it's 1.5 GB and at 15 GB it's usually multi language and 7.2 surround...

They are lowering the bitrate, for a non technical example..... the resolution will still be at 4k... however everything will look a bit more muddy and less sharp. Think video games .... it would be like going from a PS4 down to a PS3 level of visuals or maybe Blu-Ray down to DVD quality with upscaling. IMO most people won't notice a big difference , but for the people with crazy set ups and who are really anal on how sharp and clear everything is will notice it.

I think everyone knew his last year or so of trying to pretend he's a good guy was all just an act. I wonder how Dana White will spin this to make it look like he's not a bad guy....

It's a bit fuzzy on how much stronger it is, the PS5 has a faster hard drive so in theory in certain games it could be more powerful. On the other hand apparently the Xbox X has dedicated hardware to assist with raytracing which makes a huge difference in the lighting of games. It more then likely will be closer then 30% difference though.

Have you not seen the spring breakers in Florida? I think the opposite will take effect. More people will ignore and go out. We live in an age of self entitlement, I have e zero faith that people will restrain and stay at home.

People simply just won't follow the rules. I already have seen a tonne of people going out and gathering and it's only been a week. Once the hot weather hits here people will be going out and doing their thing.
