But JCon said all of this is nonsense and Winnipeg is no worse then many years ago
-
He's slower then before but far from being a guy who can't roll out anymore. He did it against BC and it worked well. I think the bigger issue is the decision making on his part.

Damn that sucks, at one time he was more over then Hogan. The WWE really should have had him in the HOF years ago.

I'm sure 99% of the Americans who come up to play feel the same way. What football player growing up in the States wouldn't want to play in the NFL making ten times as much money? I don't understand why people hate on Rourke wanting to play in the NFL?
-
Rourke has looked overwhelmed in both games since he's came back... I also realize that Rourke also has a punchable face which reminds me of this popular youtuber who has a hittable face. Me thinks VAJ playing and Rourke taking a back seat for a month would be best for the team in the long run.

Rename Lagimodiere to Fred Penner Blvd? I'm down with that!

I'm happy to get anything of value, if several teams have said that Rutger has "character" issues then good riddance. We don't need the head ache.

I watched the game, Rourke will be fine once he gets time to gel with the team. It really was unfair to throw him into the game with such little prep. Dolegala sucks, but they could of made a gameplan with him doing short passes and Stanback being involved much more. It will be interesting if VAJ gets healthy and if Rourke continues to struggle if they will bench him? -
When I first had it, it reminded me of when I was a kid and in our house we only had fake cheeses like kraft singles, velveeta cheese, and those lunch snacks with the crackers and cheese sauce that came with a red stick to smear the cheese. If you like those kinds of things then you will like the spray cheese. It's also fun to shoot out of the can, it's like whipped cream but cheese.

One of my co workers is in love with spray cheese and whenever anyone does a trip down to Grand Forks/Fargo he always places his order. For him it's like crack and he cannot get enough. On it's own with nothing else it would be gross. On a ritz cracker with a piece of sausage and a pickle it makes for a nice combo. It has a weird texture that is hard to explain, I'd say a more gooey mousse? Taste wise it's very mild , so it will not over power the other food that it is on. I'd best compare it to other fake cheeses like Cheese Wiz. My only recommendation is to avoid the bacon and cheese flavoured spray cheese, when my co worker brought that to work it tasted like pure liquid smoke and the after taste took forever to go away. It was gross.

No surprise considering how poorly received it was and how Disney is trying to repair all the damage they have done with the brand.

East St Mario's has more variety and I'd say slightly higher quality than Olive Garden. It's ok for a family restaurant but nothing worth going out of the way to eat at.

Didn't Printers have gaudy numbers and then never came close to playing at the same level again? Maybe Rourke does the same? -

Hiring Jones is a pure desperation move. That team will implode by the end of the year. -
You do realize that in the last many years that all police/court systems fudge the numbers on behalf of themselves or their superiors to help the optics. In the old days shop lifting, burglary, drunk in public, and many more common issues were all registered and would go through the court systems (people being charged). Nowdays nearly all smaller crimes are ignored and many larger crimes are also ignored. The court system actively tries to drop as many charges as they can in order to prevent a criminal from going to jail and to give them lesser charges (i.e. save money to keep them out of jail and give them a $50 dollar fine and probation). The court system is massively backed up and they just want to process the cases as fast as possible. Police don't even waste time to investigate shop lifters or even home theft or anything anymore these days. Nobody needs a chart to see how sharply Winnipeg has declined in the last 20 years and how violent crimes and how shoplifting itself has ramped up insanely during that period. Do you not remember the Liquor Mart crisis from a few years back? Why does Wal Mart and Superstore hire police officers, why did Wal-Mart completely re design some of their store fronts for the self checkout aisles to be more contained and secure? Why would 7-11 make up stories of leaving because of shrink? Convenience stores rarely if ever go out of business, those are staples in neighbourhoods. What area of the city do you live in that you do not see the decay?

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/winnipeg-ukrainians-attacked-on-street-1.7294030 These stories keep popping up on a much more frequent basis then ever before, wasn't it a week ago where a kid was attacked with a machete. It saddens me that as a kid in th e 90's I was able to walk around the North End , Elmwood, Kildonan Place mall during the day with little to no fear of anything bad happening. Nowdays I wouldn't even remotely consider allowing my children to take a bus or hang around any of those areas without myself around.

I really do feel bad for the workers at these places as they are constantly in the threat of danger as they can do absolutely nothing to stop it. The penalty for shoplifting or robbing one of these places is jack squat, you pay far more for a red light camera ticket compared to what these criminals "pay". Eventually it will be like in certain areas of the USA where their will be no convenience or other stores to buy anything in the more poor areas. It's unfortunate.

I'm going to have to request that you change your username to Rainbow Out For the record I think the Elks name is much better and suits a football team name much more. Fits in nicely with The Lions / Tiger-Cats. Maybe with a new owner they can inject money and life into a dying franchise similar to what the new owner for the Lions is doing. -
They had to CGI over the original "dwarves" after the overwhelming backlash of what they originally had shown (as seen below). The movie has had so much controversy between the dwarves and after Rachel made it worse with her interviews that it was nearly cancelled. They have been frantically re-shooting and re-doing much of the movie over the last year so it will be quite a challenge in the end for them to make a cohesive film. Apparently they've already sunk 350 million into the movie!

If only I wrote three places that I found better then Krispy Kreme... if only.
-
I tried a variety of Krispy Kreme donuts today. I don't see the hype, the donuts all tasted the same to me. All I could taste was excessive sugar and nothing more. I'd rank them barely above Tim Hortons but significantly lower then Oh Doughnuts, Grand Donuts, or donuts from Safeway.

We just got ours a week ago for the lake and it works flawlessly. I was able to work from "cabin" last week for a few days and had zero interruptions and zero issues with my work vpn and doing video calls and streaming youtube at the same time. Once you connect the cables and power it on, it was about 20 minutes of doing the setup through the app and it's then good to go. I'm also on the wait list for valley fiber.... it promises much faster upload speeds and is $40 dollars cheaper per month. It apparently will be ready in our area in a few months. The feedback that I've heard from my neighbours and what I've read online has been that people are annoyed that they have been waiting months/years of them to complete installation in their respective areas. If anyone has Valley Fiber on here , how has it worked for you? Is it reliable?
