That's insane considering they've had home field advantage frequently in the play offs and in the regular season they've had an insane home record.

I disagree, Collaros extended drives and made big throws that Nichols would of not made. Clearly the D was the main reason we won, but I wouldn't ignore the contributions from the O.

Storm was a great mid card depth wrestler. He made tag team matches in the mid card much more entertaining.

Is he not already a legend?

Reilly BLM Harris Evans Collaros No way is he top five even at his peak. At this point I'd put Arbuckle Fajardo (look at his win loss if you're going to argue) Masoli Adams Ahead of him Nichols literally is only better then MBT , Franklin, Jennings, Davis and maybe on par with Streveler. I dare you to disagree with putting him ahead of those top five I listed.

What was Nichols record this season vs Calgary and Hamilton compared to Collaros? All of this with only a few weeks of practice under our offense. Collaros did more with this offense with only 2 weeks of practice compared to 3 - 4 years with Nichols. Streveler unfortunately regressed in his passing game this season compared to his first... but go back in year one and Streveler did more with yet again a few weeks of practice then Nichols did. He also at least has some upside and despite being so young he's already more of a leader then Nichols ever has been and his team mates get ramped up and rally behind Strev. The team never rallies behind Nichols.... they look so lethargic when he is in and maybe it's because they hate being thrown under the bus after he shits the bed and blames everyone else aside himself. Without Andrew Harris , Nichols would be completely toast. He's a one trick pony at this point and is terrible. Aside from dumping the ball of the Harris and his one long bomb to Adams per game... what the hell does Matt Nichols brings to this team?

Escaping the pocket and making plays, throwing the ball more then 5 yards, not losing his cool and melting down when things stalled.

This story has a double twist!!! How many more twists!

Tweedle dee and Tweedle..... The quality of your guys posts are very similar to the stuff I read on riderfans. What is funny is that you guys mock them so much yet literally post the same stuff that they do with the exception of using Nichols instead of Fajardo. Lots of barking but damn sure are quiet when LaPo proves you guys completely wrong when he has a real QB running the offense.

Nichols not playing took us and won us the Grey Cup. Collaros gets all the credit at the qb position for getting us the cup.

Played stronger competition, didn't have Harris for two games. Defense went cold. He's basically a rookie with a fraction of the experience and made rookie mistakes. What's Nichols excuse when a non rookie walks in and in a few weeks notice completely outshines him. Nichols had one good game against a good team this season (Edmonton).

Him and Petan will be KHL legends

How about the eye test where he sucked badly once he played tougher teams and when the five yard dump off was game planned against. We blamed LaPo but clearly as the play off rum showed it wasn't all on LaPo. Rewatch the games we had receivers open mid and deep and he wouldn't throw it to them. Watch how badly he couldn't escape pressure. Look how much more energized the players looked once Strev and Zach played. Same thing happened two seasons ago, the moment Strev came into the game the offense looked alive and received who were ignored started getting balls to them.

So Bishop was Like 12-0 , Fajardo had a better record. I guess Reilly is a bum for his bad record.
-
Throwing five yard passes , when defenses took away the Harris dump offs he had nothing.

From what I've read about Storm he was a real good guy , very hard working and was one of the few ECW and WWE guys who lived a completely clean life. No drinking / drugs / partying, took the business very seriously. Also very easy to work with and a perfectionist. I'm surprised they didn't hire him to teach the young talent.

I want all of our guys to come back, at this point I don't even want them to spend money on an American receiver... Lawler and Bailey are fine by me.

Didn't Simmons get an award or a HOF induction during Grey Cup weekend also? 🤮

Way more money in a backstage WWE job then running a wrestling school. Good for him!

In a previous post I made a large post which showed his regression and how after his first injury with us he hasn't played well at all. Same O Coordinator and for the most part same players. Pre first injury Nichols had a tonne of 300 yard games .... post injury he's had only a few 250 yard games and a whole lot more with less. Same coach same players.... We had Lawler and Bailey in the line up earlier/midway in the season... they were only visible once Streveler and Collaros started playing. It's because those qbs were not scared to throw the ball more then 5 yards down field. The numbers were similar but the opposition that Nichols faced was vastly inferior to the others. It's sad that Collaros in only 4 games has way more highlight reel plays then Nichols did in 8 games..... it's because Nichols literally did nothing aside from dump it off to a fresh Harris who was facing crap teams. Regardless of the stats or opinions... look at how shitty his throws were when he did play... how many times did the receiver have to dive or go off balance to make the catch despite being wide open. The balls were rarely on target.

Someone suggested that we replace Kyrie ?? I can see people wanting to replace guys like Hecht ... but to replace a young guy who showed so much and is continually improving and who doesn't cost a fortune.... why>?

It's what I was saying.... Hockey is messed up.

You mean when Nichols played against all the easy teams and padded his stats? He played Ottawa, BC and Toronto each twice. How did his last 4 games go ... under 200 yards passing only 3 TD to 4 ints.... fell down at the slightest hint of pressure... and this was against easy teams. Collaros comes in late in the season with out any familiarity with the offense or the players and completely out shines him playing against elite teams. I dont' want LaPo anymore as an OC but that makes it clear as day that the issue is at QB. Just because you and Noeller bark at the thought of anyone crapping on Nichols doesn't mean you are right. Nichols in his last 3 games was trending at 175 yards passing per game with two of the games against BC and Toronto. This was with Harris and mostly healthy line up. The guy at this point should be a veteran insurance back up like Glenn was in his last years.

Based on the fact that he can escape pressure and make a pass over 5 yards deep? I think Fajardo is limited but he did more with far less talent then Nichols had at his disposal. Nichols of 3 years ago pre injuries was a far better player...but that guy isn't the same anymore.
