He only lost his career because he wasn't good enough. If he was a top 3 line player he would still be in the league. As I said before he's a fringe player and no team wants a locker room cancer when they can hire tonnes of other guys to play 5 minutes a night and score 2 goals a season....

No doubts and girls are ten times more vicious online and offline when it comes to bullying others. However this guy is a public figure and part of being in the public eye and representing the team and league is to avoid doing stupid **** like this. Something that everyone needs to remember...anything you post or text or even say which can be recorded....assume that this will never remain private. Also mid 20's is not the same as 18 year old making a stupid decision.... at that point you're more then old enough to know better.

Also for some reason the amount of points a player scores (or value they bring to a team) also impacts how severe society looks at the punishment. It's easy to throw away a 4th liner like this guy... but if Ovie were to do the same... I guarantee the team and fans would be much less critical. Weird society.

I went to a place about 5 years ago on Grant and Pembina (name escapes me) but they had brisket that was dried out almost like jerky. They also had pulled pork that was also dried out and chewy.... that I consider poorly cooked. The place at harbour view was juicy and the sides were all made well (proper texture and fresh and moist). Everything just lacked flavour when I went. The rub on the brisket tasted only of pepper and the potato chips had no seasoning on it at all and the other sides just tasted like nothing. They didn't even have a bbq sauce to use as a dip. Is it the same food though.... Smokin Hawg cooked everything beautifully but the meat and the sides all had absolutely no flavour.

I had them when they had a place in harbour view... found them to be super bland =\ I was told of a place called Blue Haze in beausejour... will have to try them out.

Blame the culture.. it's not fair or nice but unfortunately it's the harsh reality. It's not fair to lump everyone in a category but unfortunately certain cultures don't help the cause. Example... working retail in Winnipeg back in the day... we were told to keep an eye on aboriginals (sketchier ones) because of the obscenely high rate of theft with them. Reason being that literally 75% chance of them shop lifting. It wasn't because of skin color because we were also told to hover and eagle eye on hutteriies because they shop lifted even more. It's because of the culture. An east indian walking in to the store we didn't even bat an eye because we had zero thefts. I don't consider things like this as racism. I'm not saying anyone is right in shooting down someone because they assume that they are a criminal not at all... I'm just saying that certain cultures really don't help themselves out. You never see or read articles in the States about police or white red necks gunning down Asians. It's all about respect and unfortunately good people sometimes get shot up because others have no respect for them purely base on skin color (which is dumb).
