Lets compare.... Cornette vs Unknown Poster...... who has more credibility in wrestling. Jeeze tough choice on who to pick. One guy who has made it to the top and still is somewhat relevant in wrestling. Another guy who puts on local shows once in a blue moon and who goes on a forum..... tough choice on who has more cred lol.

Cornette is old school in what he likes in a match , but when it comes to promos and building heat and knowing about actual wrestling he's a legend. I may not agree with him thinking Omega fights like a girl (a bit of an over exaggeration) he's dead on about Khan , The Bucks and how they put together a show. I could post other videos and other comments made from people who really are/were in the wrestling industry and **** on AEW but I felt that Cornette did the best to explain everything. If you hate him then I'm sure Mark Henry and Randy Orton should be legit enough for you to listen to. If you think it's all a work then do we need to talk about why the young bucks quit twitter because of allllllllllllll the negative reaction they received? Dude the people who really are in the industry thinks they are off to a shakey start as in making bad decisions for the future. Watch the last video.... they are talking about yourself.... just because you read the wrestling observer for 20 years does not make you an insider. I'm not saying the promotion is dead, they have a money mark so they have a fighting chance. It's just that so far they are blowing a golden opportunity and all the momentum that they have and they really need to improve on the quality of the product. WCW was on top of the world and it only took them a year to throw it all in the garbage because they made the mistake of letting the boys run the company and run it to the ground.

David A was a huge part of the WCW downfall, it was definitely near the top or the main reason it went overboard and put the finish to the company. Tonnes of other factors also played a part , but David A winning the title solidified the end of them. WCW was never taken seriously after that. Defining moment of how bad WCW was. My opinion is completely valid because I don't have blinders on where you have a heavy bias and instant defense reaction to any criticism I give. My points are completely valid and just because you don't want to hear the truth doesn't mean I'm wrong. If you don't want to hear my opinion then I'll post below a video of someone who clearly has way more credentials then you or I have and what he thought about AEW and the whole situation. When wrestling royalty mocks your promotion it's a bad sign. I don't agree with everything grumpy Cornette says but clearly he's right and his opinion clearly holds way more weight then anything I or yourself says.

Masoli had something like 70 yards running last season, he isn't a Streveler type guy anymore. He's mobile but not a guy that's going to run constantly.

The Arquette winning the title was one of the main things that killed WCW (along with many others). Many people look back at WCW dying after they did that. That only validates my point...

Yes but my point was that Vince didn't take over the company and then jump into the ring to live out his fantasy. Khan clearly is doing so. He has the money so why not, but if they want to be taken seriously as a competitor they can't have him going around delivering crappy stunners. Also sadly enough Vince even in the late 90's looked bigger then most of the AEW roster.... Khan does not look like a guy who can fight.

The only issue I see with a Discord is that in some other boards I read it took away a lot of posts from the boards and people just littered the main channel with everything. That being said it would be hilarious to listen to people crap on each other during the game day broadcasts...

LaPo is a tough one to judge..... on the radio they went way over board and talked about him landing an NFL gig. I don't think he's that brilliant. Clearly in the play off run with a mobile QB that isn't afraid to throw the ball... his offense can work. It worked in Saskatchewan and it worked here when Nichols was healthy and with ZC. However from my own opinion, he seemed like the type of guy that tried way to much cute stuff and went away from giving his receivers chances to make plays.

When Vince took over the company he didn't put himself in the ring using finishers to make his fantasies come true. The guy was all business and build the WWF to what it was by smart/savvy business choices. He didn't go in to the ring and dropped Hogan Leg Drops on people to make himself feel good. Local money marks, see my previous comments from my experiences. In fairness the biggest money mark didn't get himself in the ring which was good. Non -local watch any youtube videos of indy promoters where they put themselves in the ring against legends/names. Happens waaaaaaaaaaay to much. Bush League - Having a promoter dropping a stunner, I don't care if it was a dark match it's all over the internet and it definitely hurt the brand. Having the dark order "goons" whiff punches, putting a guy over who looks like this: I'm not against having bigger looking guys but looking at a picture like this completely reminds me of local low end indies. Everything just seems so amateurish with a few high quality guys in the mix. How come back in the day ECW was able to put together a full roster of guys who could work and who actually looked like legit wrestlers / tough guys? Is their that few guys on the open market?

It looks like a 1 year contract. This is definitely a veteran insurance kind of deal. He'll start if Evans struggles, otherwise if Evans plays like the way he did (aside from the Grey Cup) then why in the world would they hand the keys back to Masoli?

Well if they are satisfied with being as large as TNA was in its prime then I guess it is fine. If they want to be a serious competitor to WWE then they have a way to go and this kind of crap won't get them there. I don't remember Vince in the 80's pulling his pants down or doing anything of those sorts. I have seen (even locally) a money mark wanting to get involved in the ring to live out their fantasies. How many times have you seen on indy shows where the local promoter puts himself in the ring to live out his dream of being a wrestler. This is bush league stuff. With all this money from the Khan family you'd think they can fill out the roster and extras with guys who can work and can throw punches.

I guess I should of put Over/Under 1 or 2 years of XFL surviving. I think Vince's pride keeps it a float for 1 season, but highly doubt it will make it to year 2.

Well considering the owner is doing stunners.... I'm guessing it lasts as long as the money mark is willing to shell out the cash. It's definitely not looking like they are taking things seriously as a competitor to WWE when the money mark is delivering a stunner. I know it was more of a joke and afterwards but still concerning... WWE completely sucks , but at least people still know what it is. AEW will never break into the mainstream with crap like they have above.
