Why would anyone use Edem as an example of their team having better Canadian depth then Winnipeg?

Augustine has played great when called upon. The guy definitely hits the hole hard and can grind those hard yards.

It would be very nice if a local media person would actually do an in depth interview with the coaches or Nichols. Maybe ask to see if the dump offs to Harris are by design or a safe out because the receivers are being covered.

Nobody is getting changed mid season, it all comes down to what happens come play off time. If they win the big game then myself and a whole lot of people will look foolish about complaining about the QB and coaches and all will be great. If they get bounced then something will need to change.

Like I said before.... they are very slow at making adjustments. Maybe next time Nichols has a terrible half or more they will put in Chris to see if it can jump start the offense...

I don't think their is much debate on Bombers having the best defense in the league. That front seven is ridiculous even with the injuries. Our secondary also has a lot going for it.

Yes because this coaching staff has shown before that they are very slow to making adjustments. It took them nearly 3 games to finally give Streveler a chance to move the ball for us. I'd like to know who makes the decision to pull Nichols between O'Shea and LaPo. If it's LaPo.... then I want both guys to go ASAP. How many times since O'Shea has arrived that we have complained about loyalty to a fault and keeping players who stink much longer then they need to.

I'm not a huge Harris fan at all (flakey when times get tough, not good in cold weather, apparently a bad team mate) but unquestionable he's a better qb then Nichols is. He is able to go through more then one read and able to throw the ball down the field. Nichols in the last 3 weeks has been better then who ? Pipkin and Jennings... hardly anything to brag about. Fajardo is even better which is sad.

What's funny is that they are calling short screens .... he isn't dumping off out of fear like Nichols. Maybe it would be the best for Nichols to go back to Edmonton since that offense is tailored for his 3 yard passes?

Why do teams on 3rd and short go in Shotgun format for the hand off.... I'd love to see the success rate because it seems like it rarely works compared to the normal big formation up the gut.

He clearly isn't calling the dink and dunk offense. If it were all dink and dunk the ball would be coming out of his hand quickly. Most definitely the Harris check downs is the 3rd - 4th option. He just goes to it because either the opposition have the greatest coverage or because lack of confidence/ doesn't want to hurt his stats.

I doubt he cried, he is more of a hissy fit kind of guy.

Crockett has some serious speed, Davis does have an arm but still needs to make more smart throws when being pressured. I wonder how sad Suitor is not calling the Rider game... he seems so disinterested.

Can someone explain to me why they couldnt' delay it longer? Wasn't the lightning game in Winnipeg a few years back played until 1 AM ? As for the game itself Pipkin succccccccks, Brandon Bridge is better then that. Riders did not look great, also gifted several non penalty calls. On the Fajardo 20 yard run they had such a blatant hold / face mask with zero call. Why can't the eye in the sky call the obvious ones?

In a heart beat I wouldn't even need one second to think about it. Are you kidding me you would take Nichols over Reilly???? That's insanity. Wins and Losses are not everything - Look at Bishop in Toronto with his 12 straight wins or whatever it was. Come on now.

Last season their was a noticeable difference in the body language and energy by the receivers when Streveler would go into a game where Nichols was failing. A whole other level of energy. I wouldn't doubt that many receivers are frustrated that the ball is not going their way.

I'm assuming he was referring to the fans. As in some fans are happy enough to have a team that wins more games then lose. Other fans can't stand being the runner up and absolutely needs the team to go all in and win the big one.

When it comes down to only one player which is dropping this team from being dominant to only really good.... it only makes sense that most people would want to fix that one player. I'd rather come play off time have a team who can still win a game *if* the D and ST are not playing at A+++++ level. I don't want to depend on stars aligning for us to win the big games.

If we had a time machine then Ricky Ray would be awesome... unfortunately he's done. That's why Reilly would be more doable... I'm sure if Hervey loses a few more he would be dumb enough to make a move.

I did not listen to Irving after the game, did he have someone else with him like Doug Brown? Usually Doug or back in the day Mitch would call it as it is while Irving would be neutral. I don't blame Irving for not jumping on the bandwagon, CJOB desperately needs the Bombers and it would be awkward if he shitted on the team and then have to deal with O'Shea afterwards. I think Irving still has the bad memories of trying to run a show with an un-cooperative coach (Kelly). I don't fault Irving for defending the team. Nichols falling two yards short of the first down, I don't blame Matt at all. The guy is fragile and I'd rather him take the quick slide then trying to muscle it in only to get hurt. Streveler is a bull, Nichols is a porcelain doll. Made sense to me. Also Bull crap on Lapo not calling mid range plays.... watch the game receivers are running mid range routes... it's just that if the first read isn't open, Nichols gets instantly scared and checks down or turtles up. When Streveler played last season he found guys mid range all day long. His mechanics may be off and throws may have more risk but he was able to rifle it down 15 yards with no problems. Next week *should* be a free week for tinkering around and trying new things against BC. Can't keep doing the same it isn't working.

Career wise the guy has more TD passes then Nichols in a lesser amount of games played? Also much more yards passed and less interceptions. I'm not saying Harris is the best but he's light years better then Nichols.

The hand full of people with Nichols glasses keep saying it's LaPo's designed offense.... the last time I saw a QB who lived on dink and dunk was Ricky Ray and he didn't have troubles distributing the ball and passing for over 200 yards.
