Lol at people thinking the teaching job is some big roadblock. Come on now. I like how LaPolice has roots in Winnipeg because of his wife but he's freely going to coach somewhere else... however Collaros wife has a teaching job that pays less then 100 000 and no way in hell would he re sign in Winnipeg. These boards at times can be very riderfans-esque. Jeeze I guess every single American player will never sign with Winnipeg because it would be way to far for them to be away from their wives and family. Collaros will sign where ever he gets the best offer, I think O-line may play a bit of a deciding factor. But if Winnipeg offers 450 and Toronto offers 600.... the guy is going to take the money.

In my opinion any coach that sends someone out to purposely injure someone else either in retaliation because of a clean hit or because they are mad should be instantly banned from the league.

How do you know he does more? Also that can be a bad thing, is he the one who wants to call conservative plays and ignore mid to deep throws?

I'd be blown away if O'Shea would allow Maas to become our OC... I highly doubt it.

I didn't say either was proper and should be tolerated. But in my world calling someone a bad name is less severe then trying to break someones neck. It's f'd up.

I don't get why Peters gets fired for saying words yet other coaches are praised for sending enforcers to purposely injure other teams players. What a weird world this is. I think Calgary just wanted an excuse to fire the guy.

I still say top priorities are Bryant and Jefferson. The rest would be very nice but not critical. Those two guys are difference makers.

I don't think he called a bad game in the final. That being said... I think TSN both on tv and radio highly over rate his creativity with the run game. Lot of the success IMO is the o-line and possibly the best rb to ever play in this league. It's not like this team wouldn't be able to run the ball if we had a more basic run play selection. I'd love to see this team attack in the air way more often.

That being said I've heard from my cousin who was friends with some players who used to play under Babcock , he apparently was a complete a-hole and truly was not liked at all by the players. Real hard ass.
