Tanev was flying around tonight like a mad man. Connor needs to learn how to shoot the puck more frequently, he crapped on a few golden opportunities because he always looks to pass first.

We've lost 6 players many times before.. maybe the quality of guys we lost is higher this season but definitely not the quantity. Jeeze for several seasons we had 4 new receivers and 2 - 3 new qbs changing.. 6 guys is not much.

Is it really a massive turnover? We had just as much if not more turn over on our team last season and way more the previous years during the dark days.

Lots of talented receivers still on the market, most of them a risk because of coming off injuries. As long as we don't over pay for huge signing bonuses or anything I'd be perfectly fine with Roosevelt, Arceneaux , Sinkfield and/or of course Walker. I'd also like for us to sign Rob Bagg only to watch Rider fans die inside completely.

Roosevelt on a contract that doesn't have a huge up front pay would be a great signing. The guy *if* healthy is a great receiver.

Jennings in Ottawa... I guess a small upgrade over Davis. Rider fans will be pumping the ZC bandwagon soon enough...

I always recommend for anyone going to Vegas regardless of personality type and age to go to any Cirque Du Soleil shows... they are a must see experience. I've sent many people to see Mystere and Eau and everyone has came back very happy from the experience.

I would pay that much for Chungh since he is consistent and isn't injury prone. The problem though is if BC is offering him 250 and he wants to go back home to be closer to family... we probably would of had to offer 300 k just to keep him from leaving. I don't think the Blue gave up on signing him... sometimes other factors play in and their is nothing that we can do. I am glad that we continue to draft young guys and can fill holes with guys like Couture and Gray when others leave.

It will have to come at a price though, I don't imagine them blowing the cap and going all out for this year.

I'm much happier in the short term and the long term with Nichols playing for us this season and Streveler playing for us at half the rate of Reilly for the three years after and for our team to have way more cap room to sign other impact players...

Davis didn't show anything when he was with us, without Powell , Rogers and Ellingson ... the guy will have a huge battle in front of him. I came away unimpressed with him.

Demski is a good player, I wouldn't crap on him he's a good signing. I'm curious to see if Dressler goes back to Saskatchewan...

That I would disagree.... Ellingson is very good and consistent.

Ottawa is a disaster , maybe they can sign Burris out of retirement? I'm not to worried about losing Chungh and Goosen, as I said in the other thread Foketi was looked at as a guy who could start on any team in the league so I don't think the drop off will be that significant. Sign us at least a Posey and two other quality guys and I'd say we are in fine shape. I'm glad that Alexander is coming back.

It'll be interesting to see Manase Foketi get his chance, all I read over the last 2 seasons was that if he played for any other team he would be a starter. I'd be happy if they sign a proven receiver like Posey and maybe a Jefferson or someone else that can be an all star level player.

I'm not seeing a lot of signings for an improved defense for Edmonton.... I don't see them doing that much better despite getting new guys. Powell to Saskatchewan is a nice signing the guy is consistent.
