  1. Copper Chimney is solid so that is a bonus!
  2. Ottawa signs Brown + Schoen ?
  3. I'm not complaining but if I were a Ti-Cats fan I'd be WTF. The dude cannot stay healthy, I'd much rather give Powell the shot and/or bring in Brown.
  4. I'd assume a former MOP would have the benefit of being the highest paid backup. I don't think Mitchell and his contract really changes what Brown would get on the open market.
  5. Oswarma is Middle Eastern so different food, but along McLeod/Henderson/Gateway we have about a dozen or so East Indian restaurants. I'll settle for a Jimmy the Greek or Pizza Express
  6. That is unfortunate, the area is saturated with many East Indian restaurants already.
  7. https://3downnation.com/2023/12/29/legendary-cfl-pass-rusher-charleston-hughes-officially-announces-retirement-from-pro-football/ Who is Glen Suitor going to salivate and froth at the mouth over now that Hughes is gone?
  8. 79,816 - Anthony Calvillo 72,381 - Damon Allen 63,227 - Henry Burris 60,736 - Ricky Ray 53,255 - Danny McManus 52,867 - Kevin Glenn 50,535 - Ron Lancaster 43,857 - Matt Dunigan 41,355 - Doug Flutie 40,534 - Tracy Ham Based on your logic Kevin Glenn is vastly superior to Doug Flutie because he had 11 000 more passing yards. Henry Burris completely destroys Flutie with 22 000 more yards! Allen was MOP only once in his 23 seasons in the CFL. In his 23 seasons, he only had one season where he had a QB rating over 100 in which he was the starter. Trevor Harris has had 7 seasons with a QBR of over 100 and only missed it this season when he was a 94.4 rating. Career 56% completion. The dude was an A+ athlete but not even in the conversation for the top 10 best CFL QB of all time. Allen was an athletic durable B to B+ level QB who ended his career on a higher note that really helped his legacy.
  9. A+ security allowing a guy to jump a judge like that.
  10. Confirmed if we head into a slump we blame SpeedFlex27 for angering the gods with this comment!
  11. I'd rather our depth guys be players needing experience and with a higher upside then keeping guys who are old and very average on the decline.
  12. I as well am not a fan of the Riders, so make it two things for 2024!
  13. Not at all and people like that should be counter-sued and lose money for wasting peoples time.
  14. https://nypost.com/2023/12/29/news/florida-woman-sues-hershey-for-5m-over-misleading-reeses-packaging/
  15. It happens on here every off season, a few members think that the Bombers have zero cap space meanwhile every other team in the league has infinite money to sign every free agent.
  16. I as well do not want to get over excited, but what does open my eyes is that the team is not depending on two guys putting up massive points while the goalie plays lights out in order to win. Having 10 or so guys on pace for 50 - 80 points while playing sound defensively is a really impressive amount of depth.
  17. Tre Ford gets pissed off being benched again and joins the Blue Bombers as QB in 2025 after Zach retires?
  18. Prukop as a 3rd down QB I'm fine with. As the 2nd string... no.
  19. Saw this on a Facebook spam/post. Craaaazy stuff!
  20. Would someone like Laine be considered a disappointment even though he has put up good numbers?
  21. I'm not a fan of cheap fast food or generic chain restaurants. I'm a much bigger fan of the non chain local restaurants that make everything fresh and with higher quality ingredients. These days most family chain restaurants are hurting because the younger generation usually have higher standards, and for Sorrentos the menu for the other locations is kind of stuck in the 80's. I'll give it a try and leave a review once it does open since it is nearby and they do have kids meals. Until then I'll complain and just tell people to visit Roxy's in Selkirk or Jonseys in East St Paul for all your restaurant needs.
  22. I thought Patrick was healthy and bombed and then was hurt/unhealthy and traded and fizzled out? He did play 70+ games in his first two seasons and I do remember the chatter being him being a huge bust early on. Either way unfortunate.
  23. Wow this city really likes erecting new buildings and not filling out the many empty locations that already exist. Sorrentos seems like such a tired old brand, but maybe they'll hit it lucky since the Transcona area for some bizarre reason loves cheap over priced "Italian Food" since Olive Garden is always packed.
  24. Does he join Daigle / Yakupov amongst the all time biggest draft busts?
  25. So basically Taco bell in sandwich form
