Calgary and Edmonton definitely do. I wouldn't declare Winnipeg as having the best until they can prove that they can go numerous games without the old quick two and outs when it matters the most. What makes Winnipeg IMO seem quality is that we have such a variety of quality players that even a backup with zero experience can excel. If Edmonton were to lose Duke to an injury I would think they'd be really hurt in how they can put up points against a decent defense.

One thing that makes Hall's defense look so much better this season is Bighill.... the guy is a monster. I really hope they sign him long term...

Meh the Messam thing is dumb but not nearly as bad as what some of the other guys on the team have been accused of. I don't see it as a big loss because he's done nothing at all for them.

TJ Heath was a steal when we traded for him for a starting QB... If he is still considered at the same level as he was before then maybe it's a decent trade?

Who cares if he jumped the gun does it really make any difference ?

But the potential is what you said they paid for. I countered and suggested that a 20 game play off hot streak shouldn't justify those kind of dollars when his previous 300 games he was nothing special at all.

I will say the o-line also sucks so he does have at least one "excuse". He also did play much better last year when he had some protection and Carter at receiver. That being said I would think running 3 different RB's the switching back and forth with the backups, weak receiving core... weak o-line all factor in why the team sucks. I honestly think they'd be better off chucking it deep every play and hope to get a PI or reception...

I don't know if Christopher could of been a bigger star... kind of small and his character was more aggravating then interesting IMO. Regardless I'd assume his issues are similar to others where some people can't handle fading away from the spot light?

He's not terrible on a normal night... but he definitely seemed bias throughout the game. I have no problem with them calling out the refs ... but he shouldn't be dead quiet whenever the offense does make well executed plays rather then bringing up the fact that the drive was penalty aided and focus on that all night long. He also said the game was close which clearly it was not.
