Yea but that Petan fellow had 2 points ..... I guess Skylar will make a fine KHLer one day

It's hard to give up on Dressler since he is so clutch and these new guys of course are unknown. Not that this is a good thing, but Dressler will most likely miss time 2 - 3 times year which will give those new guys a chance to shine.

My larger co workers enjoy Golden Corral, the others usually prefer going for places for quality rather then quantity. I think a few of my co workers have raved about Mangos in Grand Forks/Fargo... an authentic Mexican place that they really really love. Pizza Ranch also has fried chicken, potatoes, wedges, an ice cream bar, salad bar... dessert pizzas that are really tasty. It's very good.

Confirmation... Goalie thinks women are far below men and should be our slaves and have no rights. Wowza!

Round 2 - Game 1: Jets @ Predators

My 299 pound life?? -
I used to love Lovey's but found that it tended to be inconsistent and really seemed like it was only good if the old man was working. Famous Dave's at times can be slow service but the food is always above average for me. When Danny and Bucks had a place it was pricey but the meat and the sauces were really good. When Woody's was open on Grant that place was terrible and the meat was extremely dried out. We went to Smokin Hawt this past weekend with an open mind and with high hopes since it's only a few minute drive from home. I ordered the Brisket, you get two thick pieces that was cooked nicely. The rub tasted like peppercorn and a bit of salt and not much else. They don't serve it with BBQ sauce or anything. The sides I had was a mac and cheese which was probably twice as big as the portion you get at Famous Dave. It had some kind of white cheese in it... but to us it tasted like water and really nothing else. Kind of reminded me of making kraft dinner but only using 1/4 of the powdered cheese pack with it. The other side I had was a cole slaw which was also large in portion , oil/vinegar base but once again no flavour aside from some pepper on it. My wife had pulled pork which was served with a small cup of BBQ sauce , it was very moist and juicy but once again the only flavour came from the BBQ sauce. The best thing we had was my daughter eating a sausage in a bun, the sausage was really tasty. We also had the potato "chips" which was better then famous daves since they don't over salt it like at FD. Everything is cooked / smoked well ... just needs some flavour and they probably should get some fries or items for kids to eat. I do wonder how they will do since Harbour View is kind of dead these days and in winter I can't imagine people wanting to park and walk in the cold.

If you ever go down to the States ... I've had Pizza Ranch down in St Cloud Minnesota and it's also very good and cheap. It's almost like a buffet for Pizzas and it's dirt cheap. I think at Lunch I paid 8 dollars per adult and something silly like 3 dollars for one kid and 70 cents for my 1 year old. They had at least 15 different kinds of pizzas and you can ask them to make whatever you want and they'll do it for you.

So what you are trying to say is...... Everybody has a price!!
-
I've had Za probably ten times, I find some locations to be better then others. For the price you can't go wrong... the only annoying bit is having to say more please for each topping you ask for. You might have to say more cheese at least 3 times to get enough cheese to cover the pizza. Jollibees is turrible stuff... the location in St James still seems to be busy whenever I go to Za or Mongos. I tried a new BBQ place in Harbour View I think called Smoking Hawk or something along those lines... sadly the BBQ while cooked well was extremely bland. The sides all were very bland also... Famous Dave's is still the BBQ place to go to.

I remember watching Double Dare whenever they had the free american stations on the weekends back in the day. I remember kids diving into over sized cereal bowls and picking flags out of a giant nose with boogers. I also remember some tv show called Fun House where they had to run around a massive house looking for items.

The thing is that WFX would have a mix of current and older guys. My memory is fuzzy but I'm pretty sure they had guys like the Daivari's , Chris Daniels, Jimmy Jacobs and some other TNA guys who at that time were current. I would only assume the reason they could not draw was because wrestling isn't popular anymore and also because most casual people who do go to shows are going out for a night of drinks and the wrestling is merely a side attraction for their night. At the church they didn't have booze or anything and the shows ran late so it wasn't exactly kid friendly either.

It's a good thing that they have a mobile QB....

I sure hope Netflix picks up Ash Vs Evil Dead which was cancelled last week =\

I do have one question... I was working at a place way back in the day and my manager was involved in local wrestling (possibly a wrestler) and flyered the hell out of our store and our customers for Eddie Guerrero show. Was this AWE or PCW? I can't remember? His name was Doug S**** and was a bigger guy probably would say his body and face looked mostly like Bam Bam Bigelow (minus the tattoos) was that your company?

I remember the Luger / Bagwell / Kidman show at IGAC. I went because I was a huge fan of Billy Kidman (no idea why just was) and this was the first time I went to a bigger local show and was pretty pumped to see a lot of guys who were still relatively close to being in top shape. I think that show may have been closer to 1000 in the crowd because two sides of the ring had at least 20 rows with people in them. Regardless I was soured after watching the local guys over and over again... I think I watched guys like Chevy and Sanchez four times before Kidman had his first match. WFX at the Church had a max 300 people attend if that even. It was bizarre considering they had a lot of interesting talent on the show.

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat???? Austen Matthews Patrik Laine and Werenski are light years better then the rookies this season.

Nashville cruising tonight...

I didn't watch the Leafs game but it appears based on the stats that they were under siege and just made it out of the game with the win.

Petan is a nice throw in for a trade.

Is Rod off the wagon again?

Not true at all, my mom last month fell and slipped outside on the ice and had a massive swollen eye and purple shiner they looked like she was in a fight. All she did was fall face first in the sidewalk. Just because the guy's face is swollen doesn't mean he was beaten to a pulp. Him being tackled from running could easy explain the shiner.

Doing this with so many guys injured is impressive...
-
Solid game by the team, I hope everyone gets healthy for the next round! Stastny and Morrow were great additions... hopefully they keep them for next season.
-
Jets looked like they took a massive adrenaline dump in the 2nd period. Looked very lethargic out on the ice and were lucky that the Wild didn't score 2 - 3 goals. Need to close the show much stronger to make a statement.

weak call....
