I love having Bailey on the team... but I much prefer having Schoen , Lawler, Demski over him. If he's willing to stay at the same pay then all more power to him.

1 - Dislike needs to go 2 - Define struggle... if we are still in the game and he has done nothing but fumbled and thrown picks and it's the 4th quarter then yes. Zach will have a long leash though. 3 - Strev no question about it, but I don't see him being back next season.

Jones is insane so it is a possibility, but how can they afford Brown and Ford at a high salary in 2025? I would assume Brown wouldn't sign a 1 year deal? Maybe he trades Ford to Ottawa and signs Brown that could be a possbility?

Unless Thomson decides to give up on the Jets... it really doesn't make sense. He's in the top 5 richest owners in the NHL..... this isn't like our old Jets ownership shituation.

For once I am agreeing with you. The fact that some people on here think Edmonton would dump Tre Ford for Dru Brown is crazy talk. Guys like Shiltz, Arbuckle, Harris, Powell, and even Fartardo would have fantastic stats playing with our guys in our system. Unfortunately for all of those guys they are playing under fire and with significantly less support from the run game and receivers. I don't see Calgary or Saskatchewan signing him with starter salary. Saskatchewan with season ticket sales going down will either keep Harris or make a splash for Rourke, Strev, BLM or someone with a name. Calgary will do the same, DD isn't the kind of guy who picks up the major positions from other teams. Best bet is Ottawa and maybe they will get him?

Why do I feel like Saskatchewan hires Burris as HC and then dumps Harris and signs BLM to a mega contract? Meanwhile Harris goes to Ottawa and lights it up while BLM gets injured in week 3 and they go back to Dolegala? This idea in my head just seems right....

Do you think that many other qbs in this league would have much more gaudy numbers playing behind the #1 o-line, with the #1 rb, with the #1 set of receivers? I'm pretty sure guys like Matthew Shiltz and Tre Ford would be putting up really solid numbers if they were with us.

Realistically Dru Brown has Ottawa and maybe Saskatchewan. Dickenson won't go with a mostly unknown QB because that isn't his style. I assume he goes for Rourke or Evans or whoever that has more experience. I like our chances of keeping Brown long term since the QB position is settled across the league.

1 - Brown 2 - Replacement d-line 3 - Augustine grinding all those yards and getting that 5.7 yards average. That guy is a hidden gem. HH - Castillo for making all of those kicks and making them look easy. Bozo of the night - Suitor for continously bringing up Awe all night long. Also in the 4th quarter making it seem like Dickenson was pleased with that one TD drive from Maier and that one TD drive somehow makes Calgary rest easy despite him having a tonne of 2 and outs and doing absolutely nothing all game long.

He grinded out yards in this game and has a 6 yards per carry average this season, you are 100% incorrect in your assessment. Now if you are suggesting that we use Demski as our back up RB and cut him then maybe I can understand, but why cut a guy who has proven that he can play for a rookie only to save maybe $20 grand?

Why? He gets 6 yards per gain and has always shown well. Another myth that Augustine needs to get replaced that randomnly pops up on this site for no reason at all.

Can they stop talking about Awe? Maybe make mention at how crappy Calgary has been and how the defense has been on the field all day long which gives him far more chances at getting these extra tackles.

Also Jake Maier with only 1 pass for 42 yards in the first half. Calgary isn't going to beat BC with such terrible QB play.

What does it matter if he buys tickets or not? Nobody on this site buys tickets for Riders home games but we sure point out how sparse the crowds have been this year for that team.

It isn't going to change, Winnipeg is poor and with the crazy inflation the situation isn't going to get any better. The only way the place fills up is if they drop ticket prices or if the Jets somehow get red hot and the bandwagon fans jump on again and buy tickets.

Dru Brown has been playing behind an A tier o-line, rb, and receivers. I will think that other teams would factor that in when evaluating if he is the "next one". I don't think he has the physical tools that will wow anyone enough to pay him starter salary.

I'm not sure what Neufeld makes as a salary, assuming it's near $150 000. Do you think that he has to keep working as a CFL player on a large six figure salary in order to pay for the costs of having a new born child? Because my original point was no he does not because having a new born doesn't cost all that much money. So yes you are a weirdo if you think that someone HAS to make $150 000 in order to pay for a newborn child. Also completely changing my life style? I chose to stop going out drinking and partying because I wanted to be a parent and spend time with my wife and kids. It wasn't because I could not afford it? What a really weird comment to make?
