Perreault is the perfect guy for us to trade away... he can at times have some flashy stats... but in the long run he's injury prone, to small and disappears for long periods of time. I'd be thrilled if they traded him and his larger contract for a guy to play on the 3rd D pairing.

I assumed they would take a step back... but I did not expect the complete lack of effort. It also makes it much more difficult to swallow when the young guys who were suppose to make the mistakes and cost us games (Laine, Ehlers, Morrissey, Copp, etc..) when these guys are the ones holding the team up.

Lawless has been saying all season long that this is not a play off season.

Maybe we the fans are over reacting? Didn't we all want O'Shea gone and were ready to boot him out? Maybe Maurice needs just one more season to straighten things out?

I was across the street when all the action went down.... the guy definitely deserved his fate. It was almost like real life Grand Theft Auto... lots of innocent people were lucky to not get hurt or killed. Had the guy had a real gun and sprayed his bullets around he could of easily hit around 100 people. I was amazed that he didn't run over any pedestrians since people were jumping out of the way and nearly getting trampled by his car. It's easy to say not to shoot a guy after the facts are in... in the moment when a guy is waving an uzi and nearly killing pedestrians and leading a huge police chase... kind of hard to analyze everything when you only have a split second to make a move.

That's amazing... the vets getting a free pass and the constant changing of the lines that are working... very interesting!

It's frustrating... it reminds me of playing NHL video games where on the easiest setting the computers defense just sits and waits for you to make dekes and passes and that the only time they create a turnover is if you on offense screw something up.

Knowing our luck they go on a 7 game winning streak (when it's already to late) and it gives them a justification for the extension. I'm ok with them bringing Maurice back *if* they at least make an attempt to get one of the better coaches in the off season and if those guys turn us down.

It's not like teams were banging on the door for his services last season.

The club really doesn't need to sign anyone. Anyone we sign is just gravy this year.

Wheeler is a good dude, he's the guy who set Kane straight the first time. Its definitely the coaching. We have the talent to win way more games. We are under achieving big time and the guys are not responding at all to the coach. Get a winner like Julien or Hitchcock and we definitely are above 500 and playing way more full games. We have the talent. This off season sign a goalie, pay Julien 4 million per year and win.

How about we blame the schedule!
