Receivers are dime a dozen, not that scared about losing a few of them. As for QB.... it's not a huge loss when we have Nicholls, Franklin and Davis in for next season

I will kindly disagree... missing guys who are open all while having time in the pocket.... that's all on BLM. McDaniel isn't that great... he still had other fantastic receivers that he could of hit. The defense also took a massive dump on the field and should also be the other major reason for the loss.

Lawless usually doesn't throw material like this unless their is some truth behind it. The club I would hope would not even go remotely that high for Nichols and I do believe the club has the upper hand when it comes to negotiations. I am to assume that next season that the available qbs will be Burris, Durant, Nichols, Glenn and either Ray/Willy. If for some reason Nichols is wanting that massive pay cheque and isn't willing to come down to a reasonable price... I'd think that Durant would be airlifted here in a heartbeat.

I disagree... even Marquay McDaniel wouldn't be able to make those catches that BLM had tossed in double/triple coverage and 5 yards off the receiver.

I loved the game, great game to watch and great to see Calgary chock it away. How about that Calgary defense completely falling apart... it was good times indeed. So Burris in Blue and Gold next season with his reduced salary contract - 1 season!

My only visit to Cuba which was 5 years ago gave me the impression that times are better for them these days but that in the past it was definitely an unhappy repressed nation.

It's a valid point though, as I said before my dad is near 70. He doesn't want to spend anywhere from 90 - 120 minutes in cramped school bus just because they put the stadium in a terrible place. It was just an illogical place with limited entrances/exits. The MTS Centre and the Goldeyes ball park both have dozens of exits and ways to spread apart to each area of the town. IMO it would of made more sense to have had the football stadium at the Forks or St Boniface or somewhere that has many routes to get in and out.

The site was so broken for so many years that I don't really consider this as a major win.

All I know is that at the old stadium I would park at Polo Park, it would take about 5 minutes to walk to the car... 10 minutes to get out of the lot and about 25 minutes to get home. Current stadium it takes about 10 minutes to get to the line of the bus, anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes to board a bus and get out of the campus area... 30 minutes to get to park and ride destination... then 15 minutes to get home. All while sitting on a very uncomfortable school bus cramped to all hell. For myself I could walk far away and park at a distance... though usually I'm with my dad who is 70 with bad knees so it's really not an option for him. It's just a poor choice of placing the stadium, they should of had it more centralized (for us North City Folk) and choose a location that has way more exit points. This would of helped increase ticket sales for the old timers who don't want to waste 2 - 3 hours in transport time just to go see a Bomber game.
