Considering Masoli, Arbuckle, Shiltz, Mitchell, T Adams, all ended up getting hurt... he's only 2nd best by default. I wouldn't consider Powell/Crum who are 3rd/4th string qbs thrown into action as a fair comparison.

I didn't watch the game tonight, but when LaPo joined the game a few weeks back with Forde and whoever for a few series. He was absolutely awful and incredibly uncomfortable doing the color. He was also quiet and kind of monotone and boring. Towards the end it was less awkward but for the first 80% he was bad. Hopefully it's all nerves and after getting comfortable he does better. What he wants to say is quality, his delivery was just really bad.

May long is when we would open our pool and plant our garden. Significantly warmer then November.

You don't think attendances would improve later in the season? Hasn't it been statistically proven that attendances dip once the weather gets cold?

I'm all in favour of pushing the season up and ending the year 3 weeks earlier. It can only help improve the attendances later in the year.

As much as I hate the Riders, Ottawa, Edmonton and Hamilton are all much worse. Fine can at least throw a spiral and more then 5 yards.

Just watched the game on PVR, is BLM more shot then Khari's last days? I can't imagine him being able to play in wind or cold weather, those floaters he was tossing were so slow and soft. He had a tonne of time and protection from his o-line and at this point he can only float balls to wide open receivers. Crum is awful and is unable to look at a 2nd read, he had guys wide open down below and would just stand for several steamboats and then default to his run. The few times he did make attempts at throws his receivers were super lazy (Acklin/Evans). I can't believe 5 ints and they only managed 6 points off them? Why did Khari hand the ball off to Litre on 2nd down when Williams is averaging 6.6 yards and the middle was loaded up? Why wouldn't they run with Williams along the outside? Why didn't they run more earlier in the game when Crum clearly was unable to make any passes? Khari called a bad game. Can both teams be giving an L after that game? Awful performance. Also why did Milt say all the pressure was on BC against Edmonton during the rain delay banter? Milt really comes off as an idiot on the panel and makes Sanchez look like a genius for stating the obvious. How did we lose against this Ottawa team?

It would be nice to see a breakdown of everyones contract in the league because what they paid him doesn't seem like its very far off from what most teams are paying veteran above average talents.

Why would Edmonton trade away one of the few impact players that they have?

Prukop is far more experienced and outside of the Grey Cup he showed well when he had last played with us. We don't need a "project' QB, we already have Dru Brown. Plus Strev will be back in 2 years once Zach decides to retire and become our QB coach.

I'm not sure how me watching several games this year in which Houston is beat and chasing down his man for a huge gain or TD for the opposing team is me having no idea on what I'm watching. I am not seeing Nichols doing this, if this is so common place then why are the other guys not having these same kind of plays on a more frequent basis. It is your opinion that the guy is a top 2 - 3 player and an all star... it is reality (not an opinion) that he is getting beat one to two times a game which isn't helping our cause. Just because he may see a few less targets doesn't negate the fact that he is making mistakes and has much more room to improve his overall game so that one day he "may" become an elite player.

Sorry if I prefer players not getting absolutely burned and torched one or two times per game. I said the exact same thing last year with Rose at around the same time of the season. I'm not sure if you were one of the people on here giving him excuse after excuse, but eventually the thick headed folks could admit the guy was a shell of his former self and was a liability on the field. At least Rose had the excuse of being injured, Houston does not. Hopefully he can develop into a solid player but at this point he's way hot and cold and laughable to suggest he's top 2 - 3 corner in the CFL. A top 2 - 3 CB doesn't get burned by Corny, Crum, Fajardo.... Prime example of a guy with fancy stats that doesn't tell the whole story.
