Thanks shanks! Glad we can have open discussions as long as they follow the opinions of the mods on here! I wasn't aware that we can rip on Kane , the Riders, Joe Mack or anyone not on the blue or Jets but if we bring up topics that do have a hint of truth about our guys we have to put our heads in the sand. Or we can have mods who mock or rip on fellow posters because they disagree with none of those posts or threads deleted. This feels like ob.com 2.0 at times. I like the site but remember the downfall of ob was partially because of mods trying to shape all discussions to whatever they want to hear.

I havnt followed the Ice Caps but it appears purely based on looking at stats that they have nothing going good aside from Goaltending.

Anyone familiar with Armia and Lemieux? Potential on these guys?

I have yet to see a cfl franchise blackballed by players and struggling to sign players.Money talks and also certain places like Regina and Winnipeg will always be handicapped by geography compared to places like BC , Montreal and Toronto.BC , Montreal and Toronto are expensive places to live if not making top $ Most players don't live in the city they play for... the teams usually put them up in a hotel during the season don't they? Most of the Americans would prefer better night life, better weather, more entertainment etc.... the same issue the Jets have to deal with when competing for free agents...

Bogosian is a good but not great player but he is signed to a long term deal which is huge value for us.... same goes with Kane. As much as I think Kane is a ding dong and will never be a top scorer.... his defense and checking is valued and the guy does play hard. I highly doubt the Jets make a big splash without having to give up a top prospect and that is one thing Chevy will never do.

The Jets really don't have anyone good to call up...Thorburn will see the ice more and Cormier will sit on the fourth line...

I wouldn't cry if Enstrom was traded... the dude has absolutely zero power in his shot and Pardy essentially does the same at a cheaper rate and with more hustle.

Crappy to see the team lose yet again..... At least a few guys are legit trying... Lowry is starting to shine and looking like a better pick then Scheifele .... Mark seems to have disappeared and is terrified to take the shot a la Enstrom. Sucks that Pavs let in the last two soft goals... he had a very solid opening 30 minutes. The team simply seems to be skating with cement skates and it's nearly impossible for them to even run a cycle at all during the game even during power plays.....
