Sometimes I can find streams of TSN or one of the UK sports channels and the games/fights will come through very nice (clear enough that you don't see pixelation) .... it's almost there....

I rarely post any kind of rumours on this or ob.com but both times when I actually have real news people cry like a baby because it killed them to find out that lot of the old Bombers were not the most "great" characters and gasp some of the Jets have dirty laundry which explained why they missed games with phantom injuries and/or why they would be on the outs with the club. My news is relevant and mostly impacts the play on the ice. Would it shock you that nearly every Bomber \ Jet cheats on their wives and we have loads of stories about that, but why would I bother posting about something that really makes no difference with the on the ice play..... now when Zach Bogosian continually misses games "randomly" with phantom injuries and then by coincidence Trouba also misses games with mysterious injuries and then why Wheeler is heralded as a great leader and Kane is shipped out of the town... you don't think that this is all relevant? I will try to make a point of posting positive stories as I hear nice stories about guys like Ladd and Slater being absolute good guys... unless I have to post full names of the people involved with them going to see sick kids and doing charity events? Does Gary Lawless ever directly quote his sources on his rumour mill?? If you want to live with your head in the sand go for it, when you grow up and find out that many sports athletes are not squeaky clean it will open your eyes. Heck even Teemu Selanne was in trouble with the law when he was young with the Jets , albeit I don't consider speeding and illegal radar detectors even remotely close as bad as what some of these guys we are talking about do. Still shows that young athletes make bad decisions frequently...

The quality of live sports is my biggest issue with kodi. Everything else about it is fantastic. Any show, including Netflix exclusives, and any movie you could want. The phoenix app had a great ufc channel that unfortunately just closed down..I saw a few UFC's streaming at 720p Live. I think they still have a good NHL channel that definitely has the games online an hour after they air...

I have been converting over to using Kodi and outside of wanting to watch live sports at decent quality ... you could almost cut cable completely in the near future and simply stick with a good internet plan. Most episodes of any show are uploaded within a few hours and at HD quality.

That would be some damn good advice. I was lucky enough to by my house in 2007, and not long after that the housing prices in Winnipeg really took off. Not the nicest place but it's in a great neighborhood (Portage/Ferry area, south side of Portage). Now, after a little bit of work the house couldn't possibly go for less than 180k if it hit the market. I can remember feeling gouged when I paid 91k. Had no idea how lucky I really was. My brother is buying his first home now, same area roughly but north of Ness. He has to borrow from my folks to get the 10% minimum he needs for CMHC. He's lucky to have that luxury, I have no idea how the next generation of home buyers are going to make it work, especially if their parents can't help them out. Just like they do across North America.... they simply never own the home and continually pay the mortgage... which sucks.

So you take the word of a news reporter as always fact that is hilarious. Lots of people are way more connected to reporters when it comes to the criminal activities. What's funny is that reporters get rumours from gossip sites and people completely unrelated to police agencies. Do you think WPS would spill the beans to lawless if he asked? Goalie is right and take your head out of the sand. Remember when the Jets management had zero clue about Pavs DUI? Why wouldn't Lawless have reported this in the news or give them the full report beforehand??? Do you not think lots of other undiscovered stuff happens that even the organization doesn't know about?

I thought Ladd had some bad giveaways in his own end... I liked the hustle of Stafford and Stempniak and think they would be good to keep next year. Pav also stood on his head... The score was very misleading on how good the Sharks play.

I guarantee a lot of players have issues that are kept under the rug, it appears that the new guys we replaced the two trouble guys are good character guys so I'm glad we didn't acquire trouble.

I would rather they target distracted drivers... I see tonnes of people texting and driving poorly. Its ridiculous on where they have these signs and where they stash photo radar vehicles while using the safety for kids excuse. I rarely ever see any photo radar parked right in front of any schools where they should be. I do however see a photo radar parked on Raleigh by the Wooded forest which in summer blocks your view of the school which is a full block away and yet apparently tonnes of kids cut through the forest to cross the very busy road in which there is a long gap between stop signs...
