We Spoke & Trivago Listened: Trivago Guy Getting A Makeover
Brandon replied to iso_55's topic in General Discussion
Lol good one -
Canadians are not passionate about the military and I don't even see a military resemblance. It looks more like blurred out early internet jpegs that were not fully loaded up in a Netscape browser.
-
Why? Bartel is a non-import and has an almost identical average punt average as Schmitt this year. Bartel has struggled this year.
-
I was joking about trading Brohm... His value is pretty much nil. Joey Elliott has a better chance...
-
Why would Calgary or Edmonton make that trade? I don't see them trading for new qb blood... the only guy they may get would be Brohm purely because of familiarity with the system. Maybe Jyles gets a phone call again?

Johnny Manziel Gives The Finger To Redskins Bench
Brandon replied to iso_55's topic in General Discussion
Didn't Manziel already pull a few Evander Kane ****** like things during the off season.... Maybe benching him will put him in line and he can grow up over the season.... -
The fans wanted Milo out for the last little while

How does Toronto have a "gift schedule"? BC, Ottawa and Montreal are the only teams that don't have a short week. I can't see how anyone would think playing 3 road games then 2 homes followed by 4 more on the road could see that as a gift schedule. Toronto, most years, has the worst schedule thanks to Rogers. Well considering Toronto has 5 fans who actually show up to games... nearly every game is a road game for them. I'd assume the reason for the heavy away schedule earlier on in the year is because Toronto is one of the few places that can hold a decent football game late in the year because of the closed roof. The reason for the heavy away schedule is due to the unavailability of Rogers Centre because of the Blue Jays and other events being given priority. Regardless... gift schedule.... the league should of made them play at least one of those games on the road.

How good is our offensive play calling?
Brandon replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
https://twitter.com/cfllandry/status/501460287137284096 And boom goes the dynamite. And this proves my point exactly... the team is successful pushing it down the field yet in certain games they avoid the deep ball like the plague for some reason or another. -
Wouldn't it be great if Dresser signed with the Blue and destroyed Sask in the play offs...
-
Also nice of BC trying to run up the score at the end...
-
I watched the game just now... Why did they put in Lulay... 10-0 lead and the team gets a turnover so they out in the rusty guy instead of Glenn who was rolling. BC takes lots of bad penalties. Toronto's defense succcks ... BC defense came to play. So much pressure on Ray. Ray had some awful throws tonight. Brown would of looked good as our returner. Not that impressed with Glenn and the BC offense outside of Logan. Glad Toronto lost after given a gift schedule.

Gene Simmons Says "Blow Your F***In Head Off!
Brandon replied to iso_55's topic in General Discussion
I just don't know why anyone actually listens to celebrities opinions.... -
Any relation to Michael Bolton? Maybe he can sing as part of the half time entertainment at IGF.
-
Burris is NOT the reason for Ottawa stinking.... it's those receivers and Desjardins *should* be able to find imports that could catch the damn ball. He failed on his recruiting... signing Burris was a decent move IMO.
-
I watched most of both games.... I love Milt flipping on his opinion on Hamilton's D.... Milt is a close 2nd for the TSN panel when it comes to providing useless info..... Bo Levi is really coming together... the guy does mix it up quite nicely and I can see Tate being gone next year to the Als. TSN seems to always highlight and fawn over Charleston Hughes... every single game him they make it seem like the D revolves around his play.... Riders look flat and very beatable..... I wish they lost this and the last game. Brink sucks major balls... he can only dink and dunk which worked wonders tonight .... his deep balls are awful. I'm hoping against us that Etch has a plan for this since we appear to be weak against this style of offense. Montreals defense also seems to be soft in the secondary.... lots of bad tackling and wide open guys. I'm not worried about Brink and he showed tonight that outside of short plays and running for his life ... he isn't good. You don't even have to blitz the guy just force him to throw the ball more then 5 yards...

I didn't see the entire game, but every time I looked I saw receivers dropping passes, man alive... Sure to god they could have found some players with hands on them couldn't they? Make a few catches they win that game. In other news, 10-8 as a CFL final, that's just embarrassing. Did you see the Ondrea Jones drop in the end zone? Right in the chest all he had to do was hold on and fall down.... Also Edmonton did their best to give the game away with not making the late 3rd down in the red zone.. fumbling in the red zone.... bad pick by Reilly... horrendous penalties (Willis naturally causing a few).....
-
Carter should be cut... continually he drops balls and what a boneheaded play to lose the game tonight. I can't believe Ottawa with all those turn overs and huge breaks didn't win tonight. I put the lost right on the receivers big time. Ondrea Jones blowing an easy TD.... Carter with two big drops and the fumble..... Henry being able to catch only half the passes his way....
-
Ottawa doing there best to give this away. Stupid penalties
-
Is Timmy Chang out of jail yet? I KIDDD!! I'm sure this venture will be highly successful.

How good is our offensive play calling?
Brandon replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
He hasn't been that bad... It's light years better then what we have had since Berry. I just wish he would push the ball deep more often and maybe bounce Grigsby out to the side more often. -
It's the root system. Weeds have roots that are thicker and more importantly grow deeper. People who water their lawns frequently create poor root systems for their grass. Less frequent waterings encourages the roots to grow deeper in search of moisture, and in times of low precipitation these lawns will be more durable than lawns that are overwatered. Over time a healthy lawn should overtake the weeds. So they say. Thank you for this tid bit , it makes sense to me!

My random thoughts.... How come Boston Pizza continually changes their menu and removes favorite dishes such as Cactus Nachos (cuts smothered in cheese) , chicken parm sandwich and szeuchwan pizza yet they keep on the menu the garbage like the pizza-burger? Also why the raise in prices it's not that great? Why doesn't Chris Tucker make movies? I know he's blown all his money away and it looks like he's doing another Rush Hour... but I'm sure the guy could score a tonne of big roles and he's way funnier then his mini-me Kevin Hart. What's the deal with Black comedians who become huge then disappear (Murphy, Tucker, Chappelle).... What's the deal with weeds.... why can they grow to be massive in my yard without being watered yet the areas of my grass where I do water struggles to grow. Why can't grass grow crazy big with ease while Weeds struggle? What's the deal with MIL's? Is their some kind of secret society where women must make their SIL's life miserable??

I think the short time between games and the fact that Toronto had the extra week off was a massive factor in why we simply looked tired and beaten up tonight.
