Nik Lewis is massive... I'll be amazed if he lasts the year that belly is huge. Lulay is done... half the time they panned the camera to him he was rubbing his shoulder. Glenn will be the guy for this year and maybe next.... Benavides is one angry fat guy...so angry I'm guessing he has a heart attack this year. Chris Shultz is still a moron in regards to suggesting that Andrew Harris might get cut.

Rod Black still loves Bo Bowling. Lapo has good content but his delivery is so boring. Troy Smith definitely stunk more as the game went on. This is good for us! DeMarco getting no protection. Burris looked great... Would like to see what would happen had Montreal blitzed.

I'm watching on my PVR I'm only at the 2nd quarter but yes Smith looks like Bishop 2.0 but I wouldn't give up on him. I think the Al's greater concerns are the poor secondary and weak o line. Smith isn't awful he's light years better then crap like Hall... He just doesn't look settled. He'll get better with experience.

he dropped a ton of passes in game 1, receivers who can't catch tend not to be worth much. I am a bit disappointed in cutting Hall now, I think that was a move that could have waited until you make damned sure you're other backups are for real but whatever I know why they did it... I just don't have to like it. Guy makes one mistake compared to the other and he's out that's a risky way of running your team. One mistake? He made the same mistake several times last year on top of the noodle arm

Don't forget Hall was as brittle as Pierce so really no need to keep the guy. I think Brohm and Marve will be able to do more then guys like Goltz, Boltus and Brink did with us over the last few years. Good luck to Hall I assume he goes back to coaching.

So where does Max Hall end up?

I have a great deal amount of faith in this coaching staff and Walters.... they definitely make moves that are obvious and I knew it was obvious from pre season game #1 that Hall had zero upside and needed to go. Fantastic move by the club and my condolences to 17to85 as I know he was a big fan of Max Hall and his hatred for Brohm must be even greater now!

So what's the deal with us cutting the guy that we just signed from Edmonton?

I don't think anyone hates Hall... He just has no upside at all. The noodle arm just won't work in the cfl.

I think people want Messam not cuz he is great... Its because by starting him we can swap out in another position with an import who could be much better then the ni filling that role.

Not any Catholic who knows a thing about their religion. Or are you confusing Catholics with Christians? Here's the thing, the church absorbed all the pagan holidays because it was easier to convert the heathens if they could say "hey look! all our holidays are the same as yours!" Halloween is All Hallows eve, ie. the night before all saints day. No one with a brain has a problem with the dressing up aspect because it's a harmless throw back to the pagan origins of the holiday. That's a bit insulting to say one has no brain because they don't share the same belief as you do. No need to be narrow minded! I can also say that the extreme religious folks also hate on the commercialization of Christmas with Santa (Santa isn't suppose to be wearing red and white!) and Easter should not be about Bunnies lol!
