Maybe Bluto can provide insight on O Shea and his ability to coach

Dickenson To Sign Long Term Deal With Stamps
Brandon replied to iso_55's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It makes sense for both parties good for them -
That lost was purely on the receivers giving away the ball and killing momentum and taking points off the board. If they hang on to the ball Calgary would of had more points and the defense would be more rested and sask would of played on much worse field position. Glenn's horrible into didn't help either

RDS Reports Possible Major Changes To Als Coaching Staff
Brandon replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I think people are over blowing how 'good' Berry is as a oc. while he is certainly better then the crap we have had of late, i do remember the team struggling on offense with him as the coach. Remember when on the old site people would complain because we would always score on the first drive but then not move the chains until later on in the game. -
Ooo do tell
-
Oh please let this come true

I think what is more important is if the coach or gm has cfl experience as a player or in any other role. We kept bringing in randoms from the states instead of going for a guy with cfl experience who knows the cfl game.

But both Kent Austin and Scott Milanovich BOTH won the grey cup in their rookie year as a HC!!!
-
Kind of a dumb thread... Toronto has experienced coaches and an experienced qb with a fantastic track record and they lost today, hell if anything it makes your point look silly since Milanovich was a rookie coach last season and he won the grey cup. I don't see the point at all. Austin isn't an outstanding coach IMO , he was lucky to win last week and called a horrible game. They have a qb who is extremely streaky and today he was on. All I know is that Calgary/Saskatchewan will be very happy to face H amilton rather then Toronto for the cup.

I don't care what they say.... Henry Burris is starting and even if Ray goes down with a broken arm on the first play... Collaros is still more then good enough to carry them.
-
Remember Goltz's TD Red Zone % was #1 in the league this season prior to him being benched..... so that point is fairly moot....
-
Could be like when Matty coached in Calgary
-
The biggest problem is a rookie coach taking on a full rebuild. He will have to have a complete experienced coaching staff to lean on for success. We can't afford any more learning on the fly... Also a qb would help
-
Lol just read the free press poll and the casual fans want PLP as the new head coach lol.

Umm remember kamau looking great with Ricky throwing the ball to him a few years back....
-
But who is making this big money. They said Pierce was working on a minimal base salary with all performance bonuses. Who is making this cash?
-
The blue have to be the lowest paid team. We have not made any big free agent signings in years and the team is full of young raw players. I wonder if Mack was forced to keep a minimal payroll by the higher ups??
-
Only way I think Khari works out is if they hire a full set of experienced coaches. No pinching pennies and not having qb coaches and or bringing in unproven OCS etc.... I'd certainly feel more comfortable if we had hired Higgins and let him make the choices on hiring coaches.
-
I wonder if that interim thing just may have something to do with it /endofsarcasm Great move by the club
-
Definitely nobody on this site is excited as Khari as a HC.... heck I wouldn't be thrilled with him as a OC either. He has not proven anything yet IMO. Now I definitely can see why people are drooling over Dickenson that offense was well organized and performed very well with many different receivers going in and out of it on top of the other injuries they encountered. I know it's pretty much impossible to think DD will come here but I definitely can see why people would get excited over him. With Khari all i can think of is average performance in Hamilton and a sputtering offense in Saskatchewan that despite having some great receivers... they really were lackluster in the QB play.....

From Burke's point of view I guess it really wouldn't make sense to stay on as DC. He could get a year off with pay Amd start clean in 2015. The only reason it would make sense for him to stay would be for him to repair his image since it probably is really hurt at this point. I'm pretty sure if he gets tired that several other teams would want him as a DC.
-
I'd be shocked if that were to happen... if Walters could pull that off then I would be very much in his corner for being our GM.
-
Wouldn't it be funny if it were Hamilton and Saskatchewan and somehow Burris wins in Regina making the rider fans explode lol
-
Bring back palardy?

For the Als I get rid of Bo Bowling instantly... the guy is useless on returns, has horrible hands, fumbled the ball away right after the horrible Bruce fumble. Emry also didn't help the cause with his poor job of tackling allowing that TD...... I thought Troy Smith looked like the veteran out there while Burris was the rookie looking lost.... Smith is definitely a keeper and rifled some great balls against the wind that unfortunately guys like Bowling and SJ Green kept on dropping killing drives. I could only imagine Max Hall playing into that wind..... that would be very scary to see.
