A reminder that the latest mayor was supported by Browaty and campaigned with him and that the population supported closing portage and main. The people love Browaty because despite the attempted smear campaign above the intelligent people can recognize a good councillor. Only a fool would believe that crap above. Had he ran for mayor himself he'd easily win.

Totally disagree, he's one of the few councillors who isn't afraid to speak up and say what the people are thinking. One of the few non corrupt in the city that actually represents the working people of the city. If a clown's idea is to remove the homeless camps from bus shelters, clean up downtown by making it a safe place for people to visit, holding the mayor accountable for blowing money on pointless initiatives, making the city a better place for the working, being unafraid to speak ones mind and not become a Yes Man (like Shawn Nason was). Then I guess he's a terrible clown. Their is a reason why he wins every election.

It's an upscale place, those prices are actually cheap. I remember going to places in Toronto 20 years ago where the lowest price item on a menu was $30.

I've personally visited Saskatchewan 3 times in the last year for work and have worked alongside some great people from the province who are far from being insane or crazy. They were friendly and hospital and very hardworking and nice. I see nothing at all what you claim everyone is acting like. Please show me any sort of proof that the province of Saskatchewan is wild and crazy where people are going insane and doing unimaginable things? Based on reading these forums your comment above is just you yourself projecting. Once again just because you have a different opinion doesn't mean your opinion is correct. He has a high approval rating, the province is growing, and as much as I hate to say... Regina and Saskatoon are becoming far nicer places in comparison to what it used to be. The province is really set up for maintaining growth and the average income is shooting up while the rest of the costs are not, the only issue they have is lack of people moving in to fill vacancies. Comparing it to Winnipeg/Manitoba they are wiping the floor with us in every single way with exception on the football field. I can understand bashing Manitoba because the province is a mess and Winnipeg is a dying city that's in desperate need of money. This place is a shell of its former self it's actually sad to drive around and see how bad it is getting.

I know someone who is friendly with both Wab and Obby and has said in the past that both are good (normal) dudes. Not your typical slimeball politicians. I also work with some one who has been friends with Obby since his playing days and she says it's completely not in his character to make accusations and lie. I've met both guys once (briefly) and both seemed to me like average guys and far from your typical greasy bastards. I remember the first time I met Sam Katz, it felt like I needed a shower based on the grease coming off the guy. Definitely had an untrusting vibe to him. When I met Doug Lamont and actually had a chance to ask him a few questions, the guy gave the answers and the aura of someone who is completely clueless (similar to Judy Wasylycia-Leis). I also met Brian Bowman he seemed normal and less cringey as he comes off on tv, Cunningham seems nice but in over his head. Both guys were no where near as slimey as Katz not even remotely close. If only Unknown Poster was still around to tell his Katz story. I'm guessing games are being played and it's a matter of who is embellishing. Either way in the end the people of Manitoba are the only ones who lose because of all the b.s. It would be nice to have elections where candidates are all strong and the one who offers the best platform without trashing each other wins. I'm guessing that's a pipe dream.

It does matter. One guy has a squeaky clean, positive role model, beloved in his community background. The other has a criminal history and a checkered past and stories of having violent outbursts even after trying to move on from the checkered history. The only people saying the accused is innocent are people who want his political party to win. I don't doubt that dirty political games are being played here but the general public will need more convincing evidence of no wrong doing. If Khan is proved to be a liar then that will kill any bit of good will he has. If Kinew is proved to be a bully , well it will be on par with what most people already think of him so I don't see it as damaging to his reputation.

Reading those tweets and the others who say they were present... it's hard to take what they also say to heart as they all seem to be heavy NDP followers. I'd need a video or at least someone who is impartial to fully believe.

You'll see people say it's from blood money and horrible things.... yet these same folks have no problems buying electronics and clothing from where the raw materials originates from Africa where it's absolutely awful conditions with child labour and then assembled in China with inhumane working conditions. Many people are extremely uninformed on just HOW much things the Saudi's invest big time money into around the globe. So much of what we spend money eventually ends up back to them. I'm not a fan at all of the social beliefs that they have , but to pretend LIV is somehow any different from basically all big entities is silly. Anyone who despises LIV should question about putting money into the following businesses as they have HUGE investments from that same blood money: Costco Google Amazon Wal Mart Home Depot Starbucks Nintendo Pay Pal Uber Visa Fed EX Grand Theft Auto UFC Adobe Zoom Nestle Electronic Arts AMD Many many more that can be listed. TLDR: People jumping on a bandwagon and somehow a Golf Company funded by oil people equals bad. Yet that exact same oil money funding Costco that's perfectly ok. People just being silly.

CBC is by far the worst, they slant stories on news reports and not even on opinion pieces. They take it to another level compared to everyone else.

100% CBC is the worst for bias and/or slanting news reports to fit an agenda at a local level. Nearly every time a press conference or big news (locally) is announced they are the only ones that withhold key information or slant the story in a certain way. Meanwhile all the other local news outlets report almost word for word a different (the true unfiltered story) of what really has happened. The Sun is clearly garbage but the difference is that my tax payers dollars isn't going to tabloid like outlets... it annoys the ever living hell out of me that taxpayers money goes to CBC.
