  1. As someone who was always under the impression that having a baby is some kind of huge financial burden. It is not. After having two kids what I hads learned was the main thing you lose is free time and sleep. I'd hope most foot ball players have a plan for post career.
  2. Hopefully they don't try to bring back Masoli.... again unless it's as a 3rd stringer with a limited contract. Maybe they can lure Rourke?
  3. Having a terrible o-line and then barely addressing it may play a role in QB's getting hurt.
  4. The reffing in the game tonight.... yeesh bad calls and blatant missed calls on both teams tonight. Also Dunigan with the excuses for Chris Jones on why he didn't start Tre Ford earlier in the year was eye rolling bad. The game itself was beautiful for the most part, aside from a few really bad blown plays on defense and the return TD... the Elks struggled greatly to sustain a normal drive.
  5. Wouldn't it be funny if they hired LaPolice?
  6. No but the general attitude here is that people flip out when we lose a player and expect us to sign every big time free agent.
  7. How are we going to afford Mauldin when everyone else in the league will offer him top dollar.
  8. Sooo Craig going to get fired this off season?
  9. God Dolegala is a moron... why not throw a 50/50 ball instead of spinning and dying at the end.
  10. Dave did yes, it was a fringe call though.
  11. When I was in the States and also Ontario/Quebec this summer... it was like 99% of the time people knew how to do both. We still have a long ways to go in Manitoba.
  12. Calgary gives up what 45 yards in penalties... then on the sneak one of the players takes a shot at Pipkin after the whistle? Zero discpline on this team.
  13. It's not the food... the food and the service is rock bottom in quality.
  14. Dear lord I've watched 5 minutes of this game and each team appears to be outdoing each other on who is the worst.
  15. Calgary equally as bad... Michel drops an easy deep bomb.
  16. Even more so then the one year Dunigan was the coach and gm?
  17. I've noticed the one by my house has slowly declined in how busy the inside has been over the last 5 years... drive thru is still very busy for god knows what reasons? I'm guessing it's the old timers going out of loyalty?
  18. Dollarama!
  19. At least zipper merging is working 33% of the time as compared to 0% five or so years ago. Same goes with people knowing how to drive on or off ramps. So some progress in this province.
  20. Usually we make our trail mix in the oven but last year I tried it in the smoker and it came out really really good.
  21. I had suggested Houston was over rated earlier this season in that he was always the guy getting beat on the big plays and while the ints were nice he was blowing 1 - 2 huge long plays per game. At that point the majority of people on here disagreed and labelled him as one of the best in the league and possibly the best. I'm curious if people still feel that way because I was getting a lot of heat back when I had said that.
  22. I use butter + cheerios (and many more things) when I make trail mix. Assuming that the cheerios wouldn't be wet and soggy it would taste good.
  23. I find the opposite for this city. Everyone is always in a race and speeding all of the time. It's a major pain in the ass when trying to switch lanes either in town or on the highway as I always encounter someone who will speed up and not allow me to lane change because heaven forbid someone goes in front of them. It's 100 times worse when I drive my sports car, all of the farmers come out and try to race and it gets old quick. A whole lot of small weenie big truck driving morons on the road in the Peg. On Regent from Lag until Costco I find the issue more so the infrastructure for traffic leaving the shopping areas being clunky and insufficient. The whole design is wrong and can cause bottlenecks. The genius who designed the road south of Stapon when you are driving towards Walmart/Superstore. I have no idea why they created an "S" shape rather then a straight line and then for them to plant bushes on the boulevard creating blind spots and frequent near crashes from people trying to leave Best Buy or people trying to turn left towards Micheals and not being able to see cars easily. Same issues around Kenaston. When I shop in Fargo it is so much easier to drive in and drive out of all the shopping areas.
