2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News
Brandon replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I've done three breathalyzer tests at my job and one time I was still passing the visual/physical tests despite drinking 20 ounces. My co worker had two drinks (4 ounces) and he was barely functionable at all. Same body weight and size as me. It really effects each person differently. -

2022 CFL Season - Non Back 2 Back Champs News

Being pulled over at 4 am and refusing a breathalyzer... I'll go with he was drunk and aggressive and the first police officer called for back up in case of an escalation. The RCMP cruiser *should* have a dash cam video but legally they can't release this to the public. Phillips would have a much stronger case if he had his own dash cam video and or had taken a cell phone video of his own. Because if he has no proof then it sure would look like someone using the race card to try to get out of trouble. -
I'm sure he and Prukop will see plenty of field in the last 2 games.

I also remember the Lord's Prayer in the morning.

Almost as bad as saying "Why bother having a moment of silence also, just play some football!". Reminds me of that guy who used to post here (or was it ourbombers?) that was shouting GO BLUE during a moment of silence. That was bad. -
Confirmed if anything goes bad we blame 17to85 for jinxing us!

Crappy so done for the season.

What is his injury? My wife injured her ankle this year and was in a boot and off her feet for 8 weeks. I'm assuming the guy is done for the season?

I wasn't aware that he was on the sidelines, I did not notice him getting any 10 yard objectionable conduct penalties during crucial drives in the game -
He looks cartoonish in appearence

GDT - Banjo Bowl - Riders @ the Back-To-Back Champs

I made the mistake of checking out riderfans ... they are so sour that they are crapping on Winnipeg people for disrespecting the National Anthem by yelling out "True North". Apparently everyone is suppose to stand quietly and allow the singer to sing with no audience participation. I also read about how they had upset tummies and they get a pass because of that. -

Simple minded people tend to go to name calling and the lowest of lows purely because of how pathetic they are. That's just ugly and embarrassing. -

Non Back to Back Champ games Week 14
Brandon replied to BaconNBigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It looks like so many guys on the Lions were just half assing it all game long. Outside of Burnham and Butler the rest of the players are just playing sloppy all around. -

BC just looks like they have given up. No fight in them at all. -
She was obscure until the ten dollar bill. The story was never taught in school and when the bill came out the majority of people only learned of that story at that point. Rosa Parks was a household name, Viola Desmond was and is not. It doesn't mean she isn't worthy of being on the bill.

I'm a bit young and maybe my memory is a bit off on the publics perception of the Royal family. But wasn't Lady Diana absolutely adored and loved by the world to the highest extent all while Charles and the now former Queen vilified for the longest time as being cold and I guess generally looked upon with far less respect then her? I thought most people mainly "like the Queen" because she was a fixture and has been around for so long and her quirks on how she dressed and how she carried herself in public. I don't really remember people really supporting her for her actions. I do remember people being absolutely devastated and crushed when Lady Di was killed because of who she was but also for all the actions she did for the people across the world. I don't think Charles really has much to do to follow suit and I don't think the general public worldwide will really have any high expectations from him. Now if William were to be King, I think it will really be a massive deal and "the popularity" of the Royal family will be renewed and he will have massive expectations since he reminds many people of his mother.

Even though I don't exactly share your opinion, it's nice that you are not afraid to speak in what you believe in and don't back down just because others don't share that same opinion.

Well said and please come back! This site needs more variety in folks posting their own thoughts and opinions!

Dude was such a solid depth player, we could use a few more guys like him on the 3rd/4th line.

Fear can make people do some really strange things. Look at how insane people were at one point buying toilet paper. I look back at Y2K and how some people thought nukes were going to be shot out and the world was going to end. People can toss out all sorts of common sense when they are afraid of the unknown. That being said it is known now and COVID isn't the end of the world, it's just another part of life and people (despite the few folks on here virtue signalling) have adjusted and are moving forward in life. I'm just happy that everyone is back to school, the kids are thrilled, the CFL is going on and Bomber games are packed with fans cheering, I can go out with friends to restaurants , life is good again and that's pretty awesome. No complaints until January when the temp gets super cold and the yearly bitching about why I live in a city where the air hurts my face happens again

In Ontario/Quebec it definitely looks that way. Sometimes change can be good so hopefully if (when?) they win that they make positive changes.
