My intrepretation of what he is trying to say is that he thinks the Bombers came out playing their A game and the Lions came out and played A+ and topped us. What I think most people on here are saying is that the Bombers gave an F or D level effort and the Lions played a clean but not spectacular game (B) which against our F level effort made it easy for them.

I think the the issue goes back to these boards (maybe it was ourbombers?) in that everyone agreed that the Hall defense can work beautifully... when that defense is loaded with all star talent. I remember many many threads ripping apart Richie Hall because of the soft coverage. Lawrence, Houston and Holm are far from all star level of talent. We also require constant pressure on the QB so that they can only quickly get the ball out for the 4 yard pass... otherwise if they have time to make a quick 2nd read our DB's are playing so far off that it's an easy 8 yard pass each time against us.

The only receiver they have that can make the big plays.

My memory was that for years our defense would stay on the field for a long time and teams would routinely pass for 300+ yards against us eating up the game clock. It was only after we signed Bighill and Jefferson and when we had Alexander and a few others that were playmakers that the defense went from hard to watch to must watch.

I'm only a half a block away, I've not seen him yet but very concerning since lots of kids and people walk down Headmaster and on the Gateway trail. I believe that same Coyote attacked a dog a few weeks back (as per the local Facebook group I'm in). Edit: It appears that he's now hovering around Henderson Hwy and McIvor. I'm guessing he has a den in Bunn's Creek.

Have you not seen the Richie Hall defense from the last many years that we've been using? That's why any QB who can dink and dunk can move the ball with ease against us.

Saskatchewan has a terrible pass protection , Calgary in the first 3 quarters got to Harris many times rushing only 3 - 4 guys. They also have a terrible secondary and can't defend 20+ yard passes. Calgary needs to recruit receivers who can catch ASAP. Lots of critical drops. Maier chokes under pressure and gives the game away when he more then likely could of ran for a first down on that last play. Both of these teams are missing playmakers.
