I only watched the first half... could Toronto have done anything more to give that game away? Why in the world did they attempt a 61 yard kick? I'm glad the Riders lost but yikes that was brutal by Toronto. Also Dolegala sucks big time, he did the same in pre season in which all his balls are way to high in the air.

Best game for Oliviera IMO he actually kept his legs going instead of instant-crumple after first contact. I think the issue was excitement over non important to the game things such as Sam Giguere catching one ball and him talking about him 20 times a game. Matt gets excited with the action on the field in the moment. Very different thing.

I didn't see that, his issue is that he throws the short stuff like Elway. The balls have way too much oomph to them so they either blow through the fingers or they tend to bounce off the receiver high up in the air making it catchable for the defense. He also sometimes tends to throw it way over the receiver. Needs to learn how to throw with more finesse and less power.

I watched both games late today. Suitor really needs to stop doing Rider games... it was distracting on how much he was salivating over the Riders. Watching the 2nd game with Ferguson + Forde was night and day different in how they talked about the game and being completely impartial and not sugar coating when players feigned penalties (such as that one penaly where the returner did a flip over the advertisement board on the sideline). You would *think* after all the bad publicity and everyone talking about how poor the Riders players are at playing clean football that they would of instead made an effort to avoid being dirty. Instead if seemed like they doubled down on being completely out of control. The league office is going to start facing serious pressure from the other teams and the fans really soon. I think everyone outside of Saskatchewan has had enough of the BS. Fajardo made one nice deep throw but so many just awful throws over 15 yards. Fajardo NEEDS to play a Matt Nichols style offense with just the quick outs and the dinks and dunks. Come later in the season once it gets cold and windy... dude will be absolutely awful trying to knife any throws or going deep. Andrew Harris as much as I was not happy with his exit... the dude showed that he can survive first contact and keep his feet going unlike Brady. LaPolice late in the game with the lead deep in their own end... calls 2 running plays up the gut. Didn't have the balls to try anything at all remotely different at least on 2nd down to see if they could move the chains. I'll be shocked if he is back in 2023 as a HC. I thought the game was a borefest and my only enjoyment was Marshall Ferguson since he already has moved to the #1 PBP on TSN IMO. Calls a really good game.

I couldn't believe that he didn't call at least one play with Carey inside the ten yard line... the guy was easily moving the chains. That is someone who really outsmarted his own self.

I thought we deserved this one and the right team won.

I just watched the game now, can we also include Trevor Harris being useless as hell. Dude had time in the pocket and basically has zero ability to scramble and zero ability to make a play if his first two reads are covered. Cornelius has the exact same issue as last year... throws his short passes with so much velocity that the ball bounces off the receivers hands and becomes a jump ball for a DB. When facing any sort of pressure the guy also over throws his targets. Fortunately for him the Als had zero heat on him in the 2nd half. Also LOL on Jones for challenging a play that he couldn't challenge.

I'd rather the club bring back Borsa, dude looked good in pre season.
