  1. I don't care if people **** on my hopes here.... I hope Edmonton gets absolutely trounced this season and want them in dead last place more so then the Riders. The sooner Jones and the knobs are gone the better.
  2. Why not? We ran the ball perfectly fine with Brady and Augustine and it's not like Lawler was the only guy who was catching balls. Also why look at it with the cup half empty, OIiveria was player of the week in his very first start who is to say that he doesn't improve from last year and performs even better?
  3. Super ignorant comment shame on you. Seriously you make light of Nazis and throw that word on anything. Its as stupid as saying that anyone who voted for Trump is 100% racist/nazi/criminal horrible human. If you think that way then I truly feel sorry for you.
  4. You are saying every protestor is a nazi? Come on now. Misguided and uninformed maybe. but calling people a Nazi truly shows how ignorant you are. You shouldn't use terms like that so loosely and to accuse everyone of being a Nazi is terrible. Shame on you.
  5. Once again... why focus on the 0.0000001 % of the population? Why give those idiots attention or relevance?
  6. Wilder Jr really thinks highly of himself doesn't he.
  7. That guy was greeeeeeeeeeeeeasy. Defended some truly evil people.
  8. Someone here was wondering who to put on a new Blue Bomber jersey. Alexander is a good choice IMO.
  9. My mini rant/opinions: I've known 5 different sets of people who were double/triple vaxxed and were very cautious and still somehow ended up with COVID. All recovered fine and moved on with life. This isn't about truckers or nazi or whatever weird comments were above. It's so easy for people to throw stones and say stay at home for another 2 years and do what's right when they have cushy jobs that allow them to stay at home and live that life. I feel mostly sorry for the folks who have lost their jobs and the other ones struggling to get by because hours have been slashed, I've lived pay cheque to pay cheque back when I was young and believe me it was stressful, I couldn't imagine doing the same now with a house/wife/kids now to deal with. I feel for those who have suffered mental health issues (kids and adults) for being isolated and just because you can be alone in a house for weeks on end, not everyone is constructed the same way and some are dealing with massive mental health issues. Some people live in distorted reality in which money can be printed and given out with no consequences, this isn't the reality of the world. At some point the world needs to move on. People **** on certain political parties, sure the NDP talks a big game now but if they were in charge and facing the kind of pressures that the Liberals/PC currently are they most definitely would be doing the same thing. It's easy to talk big when you don't have the consequences to deal with. Maybe look around the world and see what other countries are doing, most are moving on with life. I think the people complaining simply are entitled and live in a bubble / safe space and think that they deserve to be living in a Utopian society where we can't possibly have to live in a world that faces adversity. I agree that the current situation with ICU and our whole medical system is not where it should be. Things should of been changed and if not should be in the process of changing on a Federal and Provincial level. However the reality is that this requires a tonne of money so you have these options: 1 - Eliminate free medical care and go fully private 2 - Increase taxes heavily to off set costs. 3 - Roll with what we have in which we don't increase taxes heavily to off set costs and just deal with poor services. 4 - Do not increase taxes and create a massive debt for future generations to deal with If you are scared to go out, then be thankful that in todays world you could order basically anything you want online both groceries and products and that you have that option of staying home and staying safe. You are allowed to wear a mask in public even after the mandate has ended. Maybe reflect and instead of focusing on the 0.005% trouble markers in protests and maybe your own beliefs as well... maybe consider the 99.9% of the poputation of the country who may think differently. The vast majority of the population support moving on. This is coming from a white guy with lots of money who works out of home and has no financial issues and loves to stay at home and play video games and not go out. If someone like me can not think selflishly for himself then surely the naysayers can as well. Just my opinions,
  10. That might be the biggest signing in the off season. Huge signing and 2 years also@!!
  11. Harris has a sense of entitlement and unfortunately for him being 35 and coming off injuries and having 2 guys younger/cheaper/healthier he had zero leverage. Things can end really quickly... look at Charles Roberts. This is the life of a pro athlete and even more so at a position where the shelf life is usually far shorter then other positions.
  12. I thought he claimed that the other RB's were offered more money. I'm guessing a low base salary and it adding up with milestone bonuses and no signing bonus. It's disappointing that he has to complain meanwhile Trevor Harris who is a bonafide starter signs an offer that is 1/3 of what he could/should be getting and we hear no complaints.
  13. Meanwhile his replacement Augustine looks straight out of a comic book super hero.....
  14. I'm pretty sure O'Shea is the most respected and followed by a lot of other guys like Bryant and Bighill and many more.
  15. I don't see in any way how the shine on the Blue could even be tarnished a smidge based on that Sun story. If anything it improves and shows that this management is extremely professional and will not tolerate players who are not committed. Also once again... Chicken Little Noeller? One guy complains on his way out and somehow people won't want to come here despite dozens of other players saying nothing but great things and other veteran all stars taking pay cuts to stay?
  16. BJ Cunningham is still on the market, if healthy he can do some damage.
  17. I remember Ambles having some really good games... what kind of receiver is he? Burner? Deep threat? Good hands?
  18. Do you have a link for that?
  19. That's an amazing deal for Trevor Harris. As for Watford... he sucks unless you want a QB only for those 1 yard plunges.
  20. I wonder if any other teams currently or in the past in the CFL has ever lost a group of players? I wonder what the Bombers are going to do without the ability to replace these now gone players with recruiting and/or free agency. I wonder when the Bombers will ever prove that they can recruit new talent and/or demonstrate that they can find depth at many positions? What did we do last year when we started brand new DB's? How did we ever survive with brand new talent? Imagine if a team like Calgary would ever lose a player or two to the NFL or other teams, I wonder what would of ever happened if they lost a premium receiver?
  21. Augustine and his 7 yard per carry is nothing? So had O'Shea benched Harris last season in favor of Augustine you would of approved of this? Once again what are people smoking here? Have they never seen teams ever move on from players?
  22. Dom Davis on the market again then
  23. Once again... Are you crazy?
  24. Is this your first off season ever? When did you become chicken Little with the sky is falling?
  25. People are being crazy. 5 - 1000 yard seasons in a row and one down year in which he played less games on the worst team in the West which only scored 22 more points then Ottawa during the season. Ellingson - 47/69 68% in 10 games while playing half his games with a rookie and he played against the Winnipeg defense 3 times! Adams - 26/49 53% in 11 games while playing with the MOP on the absolute best team. WTF? I like Adams but if they were to get Ellingson then that's a huge upgrade and helps fill that gap from the loss of Lawler.
