Cody Fajardo is a former MOP of the West in this league.... he currently lacks an o-line and receivers so does that mean he's being forced a square peg in a round hole by playing behind his current team? Some people have great years and off years and some people are just in the right place at the right time playing around the right people. If a guy can't start on a losing team then I wouldn't suggest that he's a current all star level talent. It's TBD. Hopefully he returns to form as that would work best for us.

It should be relevant, it's this year. If he is considered elite and an all star then why didn't any other team trade a late pic or depth player to get him. I'm not saying he's garbage... A+ elite level players are not healthy scratches. He's a solid depth player pick up that is better then the two rookies we currently have.

Who is shitting on the move? Some people have said it's unfortunate that Wilcotts had to go but nearly everyone has said this is a step in the right direction.

That was last year... this year he struggled to make the field on one of the worst teams. It's an improvement because Holm at this point isn't good but it isn't like we are unstoppable because he came back. Going from F level players to C level players is an improvement.. but lets not make it like we just recruited 2 of the BEST DB's in the league. It's a step forward and a good move but lets hold expectations back just a bit.

How does one vote down HARD someone? Usually every mayoral election will have a few nutbars and usually they are ignored and people simply vote for the sane candidates.

I'm not a Tim Allen fan but this sounds like sour grapes and a weak attempt at making it seem like he lucked out in Hollywood. The guy has been really successful and I'd put his criminal convictions at the far lower end scale of what a typical Hollywood celebrity illegal activities.

I don't think our DB's were so bad that adding 2 average players makes them way better. It's a step up but this isn't like we recruited a couple of all stars that are game changers.

Indigenous population is spread out to more areas in Saskatchewan, Manitoba has more that come and then stay in the big city (Winnipeg). The reserves out in Saskatchewan tend to be more connected with better amenities then out here. As for racism if you want to see real racism visit rural Quebec... they even hate white people (who speak English). Far more egregious then anywhere else I've seen in Canada.

It feels like Fajardo always has a stat line of high completion % but only 5 - 7 yards per completion. It was like that last game until the 3rd quarter as well. I can't imagine the guy being able to play a cold weather game and having to push the ball down the field late in a game.

You didn't read the news article of Murray? I can't speak for the rest of the town but in my local Facebook group a whole bunch of people have changed from Murray to Loney.

I read that about Marino and then felt sudden guilt by comparing some of the folks on here with the people at Riderfans. Marino had more major penalties then sacks and outside of injuring Masoli he had done nothing at all. The Riders are not one or two players away from making it happen... they need 5 - 10 starters and then on top of that they need suitable depth. That team is in shambles.

What if Buck Pierce gets hired as HC of the Riders and the Bombers bring in Khari as OC? A possibility....

My concern is that Gillingham and Loney split votes and Murray gets in purely on name recognition....

I watched the game on PVR and the things I noticed were: No Glen Suitor on a Riders game? Has this ever happened? Outside of the 3rd quarter the Bombers offense could do no wrong. That Riders secondary is turrible. Blatant holds on the Riders all night long with no calls? Even with the holds against us we may not of had any sacks but Fajardo had several plays that he tossed the ball away from the pressure. Maas calling a 3rd and 1 deep hand off with that o-line which was getting destroyed in the first half? Why? The new interviewer on the sideline has a terrible voice, not a fan at all. Holm sucks... definitely a weak link that needs to get replaced. Our o-line was doing great all game long, by far best in the league. At least the Riders didn't take stupid penalties today... only stupid turn overs. If only that 3rd quarter didn't happen this would of been a clean great game from the club.

The holding on Willie tonight was unreal... easily could of had 3 - 5 calls on him that were blatant.

Last time he was polling at 40% and this news article didn't get out. I remember when Bowman swooped in and won his first election. I assume most people are leaning towards Murray because he's a familiar name and the fact that the pool has 11 candidates really murks it up.
