BLM had time and a WIDE open guy underneath... what a mistake.
-
I want Sask to win just like this.... I'd rather play them come play off time
-
Heel was on the line....
-
At this point... almost any warm leg would be doing better then Mourtada. It's a shame because the guy can kick in a straight line nicely....
-
I missed most of the first half. I saw both o-lines sucking... what else did I miss?
-
One thing that was over looked was the two almost sure fire pick 6's that we had that were completely dropped for no reason at all. That game honestly really should of been 60 - 0 . The O looked perfectly fine, they were not perfect but far from struggling. Had Mourtada converted his kicks it's an easy extra 9 points that was left off the board for no reason.

Yikes... if we sign a black kicker and it doesn't work out are you going to say we need to put him on a boat back home? Not cool man.
-
I'm torn... I always want the Riders to lose... however I think Calgary is a much tougher out come play off time ....
-
Is it safe to say he's kicked in his last game for this team after that performance?
-
The post game on TSN alluded to the Elks receivers playing scared of our DB's... and for good reason. My 3 stars 1 - All of the DBs 2 - Bighill 3 - Bailey HH - Harris
-
What an absolute butt kicking.... WOW! It should of been 60 - 3 but I'll take the 30 - 3. Just need to sign a new kicker and everything else was perfect IMO.
-
I forever will remember that call burned in my mind. In fairness that tone in his voice came back during the Kelly till Burke era many many times in the games.
-
Paging Bluto .... he would know best...
-
Aww yes McKnight is the sole reason for our worst O games lol.....
-
Why are people assuming that Duke will only be catching balls 20+ yards down field. The guy will be a great target for Fajardo in the 10 - 20 yard range.

The chart is helping prove my point, look at the sharp drop off over the ten years of the younger folks being caught drinking/driving. Those numbers are even further lower as UBER is now a thing. What does 20 something males on motorcycles doing 150 kph have to do with anything at all? That has nothing at all to do with drinking and driving. Also the amount of people doing that is so tiny and miniscule what a poor example to use. You would of been better off saying how many ding dongs in trucks with lift kits drive around like morons but even that has nothing to do with this topic. Boomers 50 's to 80's are not out partying in the same way as a college kid. But how many 20 year old sit at a pub alone getting completely hammered all by themselves? What does McMaster university have to do with anything? An isolated incident now can be used to blanket everything else? Why not speak with the Winnipeg Police and ask who they pull over mostly for DUI's. Even better you can take a look at the list of people they pull over during Christmas time checkstops. I will concede that in my original post that I was mostly thinking about people born in Canada and who live in the city. The most frequent drunk drivers that are pulled over are older white males, east Indian males and Indigenous males. The latter two I assume its more of a cultural thing (not that this gives them an excuse). As time passes and the older people die off (morbid) the drunk driving numbers will further shrink since the younger generation are far more careful and reserved then people who grew up back in the day when mostly anything goes. So sorry boomer Speedflex for hurting your fee fee's
-
It's predominately older people who get busted (Boomers!) because I'd assume arrogance and/or because they are stubborn and don't want to change with the times. Most younger people don't think twice about calling an Uber or taking a cab.

The few games that I have watched with the Riders is that they did have pass drops... but those were mostly 2nd down throws that were 5 - 10 yards deep only. All of the deep throws that I've seen were terribly inaccurate.
-
Posey is an average receiver... it's a huge drop off from Whitehead.
-
Lawler is 27 years old. By that age I was long past my years of doing stupid things. So when is the official cut off age of growing up and acting responsible? 35?
-
If only cell phones existed back in the day... people would be amazed at how certain pro atheletes or movie stars behaved. I could only imagine the videos of classic 80's wrestlers at local pubs!
-
Demski seems to be money this year.. the guy is finding holes and just finding those big plays in the holes of the defenses.
-
How so? Are you minimalizing what he did because you are a fan of his and he plays on our team? It's not like I want us to lose our best receiver and I take joy that the team is not as good now without him. I guess how I difer from yourself is that I take real life as more important then my hobby of following a sports team. I don't give two craps if someone works at a local store or if they are a star football player... when someone drinks and drives they should be crucified. This isn't a 18 year old kid making a childish mistake. He's a grown man why make excuses or try to find reasons like "He may have only had 2 drinks" ... the man ****** up and he should pay the price. So in my opinion I picture myself as a responsible adult and sees the situation as how bad it truly is while someone like yourself looks like a clueless teenager behind a keyboard. If you ever get a chance to speak with a family or a friend who lost someone to a drunk driver hitting them maybe you should ask those people "Well maybe the driver only had one or two, he didn't do anything really bad did he". If I was suspended from work for 1 day without pay... it hardly would make a serious impact on my outlook when in comparison if I were to lose a year of pay I would truly think long and hard before every screwing up again. DUI charges and fines are FAR more severe then most other petty crimes in our system , they do this for a reason. To play devils advocate... Leonard in Saskatchewan lost what 3 days of pay for "cheating".... yet Lawler potentially could of killed someone and gets only 1 pay day docked? That doesn't seem right IMO.
-
What if he had ran over someone and killed them, it's just lucky that nobody was in the path. DUI is a serious offense and this team is ALL about being not selfish and being responsible on and off the field.

I'm going to assume Bailey will be targetted deep and Roosevelt will be getting those mid range clutch 2nd down passes heading his way. Collaros has deadly accuracy and I'm not to much worried about Roosevelts hands. Just his ability to create some separation.
