For the most part (Nick Moore's tweets from last week) I love how our players have handled it. If they're unhappy with the CBA, and I'm sure they are, then handle it they way it should be handled - internally. None of this crap like you're seeing out of Calgary and Saskatchewan. Exactly. I get they are unhappy and rightfully they should be. It wasn't the greatest deal for the players. Your not going to make every player happy with that deal but nothing you say now will change anything for the next 5 years. Just be thankfully for a free $12,000 bonus and the fact you have a job for the next 5 years if you last that long.

Not all that knowledgeable about the process but generally doesn't it take quite awhile to get Canadian citizenship, like at least a few years? A lot of these players who come up here from the U.S. might be out of the league by the time they get their Canadian citizenship. Damn beat me too it.

I'm not sure how that changes that much. Guys from the states aren't going to come up and get Canadian citizenship in time to get a contract in place. You would still need to be a Canadian Citizen long before you ever get a football contract. It's not like they can come get one and then the next day sign a CFL contract and be a national player.

If Neufeld can hold his own at RT then this could be a good thing. Dan Knapp seems to have won the RG position purely because of his physical awesomeness? And because he's such an upgrade over Morley? Not sure why else we'd start an import at that position in the future, unless we have that kind of roster flexibility. Physical awesomeness? HAIR AWESOMENESS!!! His hair is way crazier now!

Gbill. I managed to make the last half hour or so of practice today and stuck around while the guys left the field. Who on earth is that hulk looking dude with pecs the size of volley balls and a huge head of reddish curly hair! He didn't have pads on so I couldn't tell. Possibly Dan Knapp?

Sad to hear. Condolences to his family and friends. Not that the Bombers need to do anything but would be nice if they did something for the family.

What ever happened to Marves uncle who was on here. Seemed to just disappear. Maybe he can fill us in on what surgeries and things he had done and how they may effect him.

The expectation that athletes in their early 20's are supposed to behave like Mother Teresa just because they happen to be athletes is bound to disappoint. More often than not they will behave just like any other 21 year old male. Unless they have more disposable income, then they may behave worse. Nothing on his rap sheet raises my eyebrows. Been there, done that. The 3 knee surgeries might be a concern if I hadn't seen him running at practise. Powerful, smooth strides, quite an effortless runner actually. Seeing him take off like that reminds me of Durant. He has big legs and looks like he can break a few tackles before being brought down. Don't normally want to see your QB having to dive for a first down but that was impressive and shows he's got guts.

Whats the difference then with Marve pronounced Ma-Arve and Favre pronounced Fa-Arve????? You would think Marve would be spelt Mavre.

Is Alex Hall considered ours?

Not that they will cut him but I saw January get beat at least three times last night. Twice he never even got a hand on the guy. Wasn't playing well at all.

Pretty sure they both had the opposite jerseys on last night. A curveball thrown to camp observers. Between the breaking ball and beer consumption I couldn't figure it out last night and scratched my head for most of the game. The announcer also kept calling Maher Lirim and vice versa. Totally confusing

I hate to nitpick but i am going too..... i'm sure the Bombers have plenty of other things to wory about but are they ever going to do anything with the gold vinyl wrap on the walls? They pulled it tight and screwed it to the concrete everywhere but the corners. I thought last year it was just rushed and they would have had time to do it in the off season but it looks terrible. Get someone on that!

Right now I'd say Burke over Etch. But I am willing to give Etch a few weeks to see where this goes...
