  1. He did play over half the season with a shoulder injury which is likely the cause of the whiffed arm tackles.
  2. And Bighill and Jefferson. Probably a few guys you could add to this list.
  3. Ticats and Als appear to be loading up. Could be a strong East Division this year. Yeah I know it’s on Feb and a million things can change but on paper both look to have improved.
  4. Who cuts a box of KD open like that?
  5. I thought I heard/read he was eying up Calgary. I sure hope not. I’d rather re-sign him (if we can) or he heads out East.
  6. I think Lawler is going to have an absolutely massive year. He seems so excited to be back in blue and gold.
  7. It used to always be that way, but I think the third bye week thrown in there really messes up the schedule.
  8. Looking at Edmontons schedule, they may not have a home win until week 12 (Aug 24th)…..that would be like 10,000 days between home wins.
  9. I was just going to say that. I hate playing in that shopping mall atmosphere. Always seem to lose or barely win. Might be a good thing lol.
  10. Like it’s up to Fajardo at this point. Maybe just take whatever ya get man.
  11. Yup big hit for the Lions. Even though he was an enemy he was a great player and a guy I would have always wanted in Blue and Gold! Great career for him.
  12. I saw this coming when Rourke wept into Burnhams arms after the West final. I think he felt bad for not helping Burnham to a cup before retiring. http://Lions receiver Burnham retires after eight-year career https://www.tsn.ca/1.1889437
  13. Fun fact, Khari Jones has now had a player or a coaching role with every team except Toronto. Taking the Kevin Glenn approach!
  14. How could this be? Rider fans have assured me that since losing the GC all of our players were going to bolt to other teams and we couldn’t possibly re sign any of them. In all seriousness. Glad Biggie is back. Huge part of this team. He brings more than just hard hits. He’s the first guy and the last guy in the building each day. Loves this team and this city. Hopefully he can recover from his injuries and be back to his 2021 form which I suspect he will.
  15. If by the same as Texas he means it’s full of a bunch of Redneck Hillbillies then I’d agree.
  16. Ah yes I was going to mention both of those as well. The ramp up to the 500s reminded me of the old Canad Inn days. The wait for the elevator was too long and we couldn’t find stairs (if there were any). And the “Jumbotron” in the northeast (I think my basement tv is bigger) seems out or place and hard to really see any replay on it from across the field. Not sure what more they could have done with it though. If you go any bigger you lose seats and then here doesn’t look like any other place to put it.
  17. Just read Rose played on a broken foot. Any word on any other players playing banged up? What was Zachs ankle actually like?
  18. First time getting to see New Mosaic in person. First impression was a nice stadium. But like ours has its flaws. The concourses seem wider than IGF but I hate that you can’t see the field from them and they are still very packed. I like the open concept at IGF and being able to see what’s going on pretty much anywhere you stand. Long lines for food and drinks but bathrooms weren’t that bad. I like the closed in North side as it gives it a nice look. We sat in about 4 different sections throughout the game as lots of open seats. The upper 500s were windy and cold but down in the 120s and 140s the wind didn’t seem to be there at all. I don’t like all of the wierd seats with like 2,3or4 seats in a row. They just sort of looked like they stuck seats wherever they could. The roof line from inside looks nicer than outside and in talking to one of the rider fans he said it was built to eventually be closed in. Which I highly doubt. We have heard rumours they would close in IGF as well but it’s never going to happen. The crowd noise was nowhere near IGF. I get that it was a 60/40ish Toronto crowd (mainly Rider fans) but when the crowd got loud it sounded muted. Not sure if it’s the material on the roof or just how it’s designed. But IGF is way louder even at half capacity. I hate the no backpack policy and only having stuff in clear bags. We had to bag check over at the Brandt Center which was a bit of a walk from the gate we wanted to enter. And no metal detectors?? At least there were none at the gate we eventually went through which was next to the tailgate area. That was really odd. At the end of the game we left the same gate over to the Brandt Center and then couldn’t get all across the street from there. We had to walk all the way around the stadium again and the crowds were packed trying to make it through. I guess this is where the bus pick up is? IGF seems to have really figured out getting people in and out of the stadium with ease. All in all a nice venue and would definitely go back. It’s nice having two beautiful stadiums in the CFL. We need more of them!
  19. The way I look at it. Now we can three peat at home in 2025
  20. Out the door at 6:15. Rolled into Regina at 11:25. Pre gaming then more pre gaming then it’s go time!
  21. Such poor planning by the city of Winnipeg. If they waited a week they could have had the Santa Clause parade and the Bomber parade at the same time.
  22. I’d like to agree but…$$$$$$$
