There isnt much to learn. There are 11 sapphires for the 11 grey cups. The diamonds just fill in the rest. The cool part is there is a unique inscription for everyone inside the ring that is different for each player. Thought that was a nice touch.

Exactly this. I've never once thought of it as derogatory or as a slur of any kind. It's a lot different then say the "N" word where you were taught it was a racial word and not to use it. I'm also not opposed to change. But change it if the Inuit want it changed and not as a political stunt or because someone who is non inuit and has nothing to do with the name is whining about it.

I think the only way around all of this is to just go back to calling every team their city/province/state name lol. I've been on this planet just under 40 years and not once in my life have I found the words Chiefs, Indians, Eskimoes, Redskins etc racist. Not one bit. To me it's simply a word or a name of a team. I dont see what has changed. If you are calling somone that name to their face and using it as a racial slur, to me that's different.
