I dont even know why we are arguing which QB is better at this point as it's all a moot point. Its Streveler all the way to the end so why does it matter who is the best QB? Why not save the bickering until the off season and then argue over who to keep and who to let go.

And last year Strev was 11TDs 5Int Hes made some bad decisions as of late. But you are cherry picking one stat to try and prove your point.

Can Strev win a GC? Sure he can just like any QB can. It's not like they have a choice as to who is playing QB. Our starter is out so Strev gets the ball. They have no other options. If ZC goes in expect the exact same dink and dunk offense with a pile of hand offs. Lapo isnt going to allow ZC to throw the ball. If Lapo can game plan around what he has they can win. But I fear he cant.

I had 4 tickets to the game but had to swap them for the last game of the year as I was stuck in Portage with the #1 closed We watched on a cell phone with a bucket of beer in a hotel lobby with no power. Fun times!

Before final details are laid out and before we see what ZC's role on the team will be I'll hold back the comments and judgment. If this is strictly an insure deal I'm fine with it. Although if we would have made adjustments in the off season like bringing in someone other than Nichols maybe we wouldnt be in this situation. Which vet are you referring to this year? If it was Matthews you would have been hard pressed to find anyone at the time who though that was a bad decision. And instead of keeping him around they let him go unlike the early years.

I'm with you on this. He played 7 years of professional ball. Even if he averaged $100k a year (he likely made more then that) he should have been set for life. I understand with all the procedures and medical bills it's a lot of money but he isnt the first person this has ever happened too. It's sad to see though.

True. We also need to consider the mess this team was in after Joe Mack LOL. We are now starting to see the depth of this team and we are able to let go of some of these vets as well.

I dont think Walter's is the only one with input as to who re-signs. I would imagine O'Shea and Walter's have a discussion on who to bring back. My view is O'Shea was the type who brought in and held on to vets for too long when he started and is now more willing to make a change and or let them go.
