2022/2023 Off-Season (League/Non-Bombers-specific News)
Let's all be clear about this. Prukop got more playing time because he is a gadget player. End of story. When collaros got hurt, who finished the Calgary drive? Who finished the BC game? Who started the games that didn't matter? I've heard this argument a few times and it's based on faulty logic. Brown is the replacement for Collaros should something happen, not prukop. The Bombers were fortunate to have a gadget player in prukop that could bring something different to the table. He wasn't the #2 QB because Brown is a better QB for this Offense. Also....isn't Brown under contract until next year?

Thinking Fajardo wouldn't have the media on him is naive I think. The media know when they have a click bait machine and they don't just leave it alone. Fajardo going from the riders to the bombers is a story in itself. The difference between Fajardo and Evans is that Evans has the physical skill set needed to be a good passer in this league AND he's not a media weiner.

Both those guys have shown they can hit a player past 25 yrds down field though. I suppose a 3rd stringer/backup ideally wouldn't need to...but when a team signs a QB they're also saying they'd be ok with him leading the O. Fajardo has proven he really cant. Prukop maybe as well..but he's not a wiener.

Yes all of the reasons you've listed is why he didn't STICK in the NFL. That's what we're trying to say. Dalton had opportunities in the NFL previously that amounted to nothing. WE know he's a great WR. The NFL doesn't give two shits what anyone's done in the CFL if they don't think it will translate to the NFL - See #85. Lenius had zero NFL opportunities before the CFL. BUT had all the right measurables. He went for a workout, impressed enough to get a closer look and was eventually released. I really don't know how else to describe it.

I firmly believe this. I don't think his style of game translates to todays NFL. In the NFL today, the best WR are basically all quick twitch style receivers. Get off the line quickly to get that quick pass and YAC play going. If anything, if he can bulk up a bit more he could potentially make a wicked TE. But that comes with a lot of question marks too.

Schoen stepped into Ellingsons role when Ellingson got hurt. And when he came back, he just stayed in the role that Schoen had earlier.

don't give me this **** after you edit your original post. Congratulations on figuring out that 2 assholes can exist at the same time. Criticism of 1 does not equal defense of another.

And I expected this. No need to try and justify. You can't. They can't either.

If you believe they're actually working on this, the announcements etc won't come until we are closer to an election.

Sorry, my point was that for all intents and purposes we have a 3 party system in Canada. Two of them joining would make it a 2 party system. Sure those other parties would still technically exist. But like I said, they pose no real threat to actually hold federal power. So bringing us back to the original point...the LIBS/NDP joining forces would create a 2 party system and with that being said, I think it's a bad idea.

Fair...but let's be real. None of those parties are even remotely close to holding federal power. How many even have a seat?
