  1. NO thank you for Davis, all he does is lose in grey cups.
  2. Collaros could have thrown an int. Brady could have fumbled, walker could have missed the tackle on 3rd and short. Etc etc etc. Worrying about what could have happened is stupid.
  3. I wouldn't mind if they grabbed Pelley...I don't think he'd be available, but he's a big body that can collapse the middle. Not much stamina though
  4. I don't take that guy serious after he tried to argue that the 2021 Bombers were scared of the 2021 stampeders....especially if Mitchell was playing. I know that sounds like a joke...but it wasn't I should add, he said this going into the playoffs...as in the Bombers were afraid of Bo and the Stamps in a cold weather playoff game in WPG....again...as far as I could tell he was dead serious lol.
  5. WTF kind of logic is this? lol. I'm honestly (almost) at a loss for words. lol. Sooo because...no other team...traded for him...he's not good enough to be worthy of a trade? I'm failing to understand your point there. And you're right about A+ talent never being a healthy scratch. Like could you imagine if you had a QB on your roster that WAS at one time a League All star, so you trade for him...he gets healthy and instead of playing him you opt for MBT/Arbuckle lol. That would never ever happen! Not in the CFL. It's clear that you just can't understand the nuances of the game enough I suppose. But those things matter, especially for skill players. Darby wasn't being put in a position to play as well as he did here (As has been stated, he hasn't been playing horrible this year by any measure and Hamiltons D is not a big concern at all..but keep going on about the worse team this and that I guess) just in the same way Collaros wasn't put in a position to play well in SSK/TO, or Taylor in EDM, or Hardrick in BC/SSK, etc etc.
  6. Should also be noted that Hamilton isn't bad because of their Defense. They're bad because their offense turns the ball over like they don't want to touch it.
  7. I'd agree if they had 1st locked up.
  8. Apparently Ellingson IS active at practice...not sure how active but he's there doin....stuff
  9. I don't think we're as thin as some suggest. We signed what 3 DE in the last few weeks? MOS said pregame that Cooper would be ready for a more prominent role next week. That kid from the criders knows the CFL. I'd be willing to Bet that Jeffcoat plays this week as well.
  10. 2nd best by his own admission. see #66
  11. I actually really like the potential in Holm. He did look lost out there at times...but man is he ever quick. And if he can ever figure this game out, he will be a very good player!
  12. Maybe they weren't "all stars" by the leagues standard...but those guys along with Jones absolutely made the secondary better and were a big reason the 2019 defense was lights out in the playoffs.
  13. You mean players might look different in different systems? With different supporting casts and playbooks? Take a look at who the Bombers have turned into All stars on their back end and where they came from. Just off the top of my head Jones and Maston were cast offs I believe, Taylor too...though I could be wrong about that one. The coaches know who fits in with their style and Darby is absolutely one of them. Just need our LBs to get healthy now...well mainly our WLB. Come on Wilson!!!
  14. Darby is an actual all star though...like the last time the league said "hey who should we vote for league stars?" Darby was on that list....
  15. I'm really surprised to see you say something like this.
  16. He conveniently leaves out the fact that the team they play next absolutely dominated the same defense the riders couldn't handle...lol
  17. Ftfy What about Thomas? Longest serving member. Just a stable member of that Dline for years! Along with Bryant, was part of the journey from worst to 1st. Would love to see him up there! Not the godly stats but his contribution can't be ignored.
  18. What about the 2002 O vs the 2021 D? Now that's a game I'd love to see!!
  19. Moore has never been elite. He has the potential....but that's it. I'm actually curious as to why you think he's elite. The others at the very least have had great/solid seasons in the past, so I can understand your thinking on those. I disagree as I think both are past their prime. But Moore is a "if only he could reach his potential" type. To quote the Mighty Ducks, "you're not even a has been, you're a never was"
  20. I think Fajardos best hope is to actually run a Lapo offense. Quick passes, run options, play action roll outs etc etc. I could see him making that work for a bit.
  21. I'm not sure where you're getting the highlighted points from. 1) You don't tell a player to retire from a pro sport. That's just not something that happens....or even if it did....not a chance in hell it would be done publicly. Could you imagine any coach in any sport coming out and saying he told a player they should retire so they don't get hurt....? 2) How? How is that rec core special....even on paper? I don't see it. 3) Bo plays 3 games at most behind that line before he's being pealed off the turf. I honestly believe Bo would make them worse. He's not escaping pressure like Cody can.
  22. There was a play in the 3rd...or maybe the 1st...I can't remember, but I saw 3, possibly 4 holding calls in 1 play. Blatant holding on at least 3 different bombers during a run play to the sideline. I didn't even get upset at the fact the criders got some yards cause I knew it was coming back....until it wasn't. And the missed no yards call (there was at least one more after the helmet one too) was just confusing. What happened to the command centre being able to over turn obvious calls so coaches don't need to waste challenges. And wtf were the refs watching on that play? I'm not sure what Gray did to AC "I can't pee" Leonard....but holy hell was he getting under his skin all night lol...at one point AC had him in a choke slam hold, trying to look like the undertaker. Dickenson is one of the most brain dead coaches of all time. On CJOB Brown (who usually annoys me) gave me a good laugh saying, Dickenson wanted to show the league how astute of a HC he was by challenging that RTP call with 21 seconds left. And that he did it, so he could finally win something. Lol
  23. There may also be a lack of cooperation from other teams who see that the King is vulnerable and don't want to help him back up...
  24. I don't want to comment on a lack of moves until....the trade deadline....when is that again?
