On the first pass he saw, where Darvin was running a post route and the ball was batted down, Collaros needs to lead him a bit more on those BUT Darvin was 100% dogging that route. Like He had LOADS of space in front of him and if he would have just run hard (Like he did on his deep route that was completed) it was an easy 6 points. But that's Darvin. He just doesn't play hard for every snap and he never has. Which is why he drives me crazy! On his deep completion you could see he was going to be targeted because he came off the line like he was shot from a damn cannon, made his move and turned the defender inside out. It was a really nice route and he was running HARD. There was another point where, again he turned his defender inside out and was wide open down the middle, but Collaros didn't see him. I love the guy and the way he plays, but the bombers could absolutely be getting more out of that position.

This week will be full throttle. No backups unless the game is out of hand. They won't start playing with line ups and formations etc until next week (if they do at all).

To be fair, the ALs have made changes to the Oline...including replacing a rookie with a vet. Still not sure it's going to change how well they play. But at least they're trying something new.

The 1st game we played Ray (Argos) at the new stadium the Bombers destroyed them. I remember that game cause Ray was named the #1 player in the league by TSN but the Bombers **** kicked them... I was so full of optimism and hope!! lol

I completely disagree about that OL statement. Wpg's OL has been Dominant for 4 years now. No changes coming into the year. If anything, that was the ONE thing that would have been easy to predict.

He's ready to go and play because of the team around him. Not because he's been developed. How has Arbuckle faired since leaving? Or basically any other back up from CGY? It takes more than a QB to win. Dickenson was a part of developing that team over the years. and then became a HC of a championship calibre team when Huff stepped down. He didn't have to start from scratch like Lapo has.

I generally agree with your takes on Lapo. But this isn't at all a fair comparison lol. Dickenson has never had to take over a Dumpster fire team. Comparing what CGY is (was?) and what Lapo has had to work with just isn't fair. It's bordering on apples to oranges imo.
