Ambrosie took a league that was failing financially as well. Relying on 2 main revenue streams is a disaster waiting to happen for any business model. That wasn't his doing. Again the lack of exploring options inside Canada and forcing competition for your product should have started decades ago. The struggles they're facing today, didn't start when Ambrosie took over. That's simplifying a larger problem. god damn it. This better not be another expansion into the States.

Single handedly is a bit of stretch. The CFLs model and lack of initiatives to address the declining fan base has been going on for much longer then ambrosie has been around. This (if anything comes of it) is bordering on inevitable at this point (Covid being a huge factor as well). I'm not saying Ambrosie doesn't have his share of ******* things up, but IF the CFL faulters, it won't be all on him.

A) **** the riders B ) they had their fair share of lucky brakes last year. Including but not limited to being gifted a W after 1 half of football. Without that W they aren't in 1st. Give them all the credit you want, but that 1 win had a big impact on the rest of their year.

I have not and likely will never vote for a liberal in a federal election as long as trust fund is in charge. But The Harper government (Remember thats what he called the gov of Canada while he was in power) was far worse. One of the worst, but also smartest things he did was getting Canada into FIPA with China. By forcing this on Canadians, he also forced it upon those in charge. The good and the bad. It's hilarious to me when I see PC ads talking about how Justin "sold Canada to China" lol. It's horrible in a very smart way.

With all due respect, that's complete bullshit. If that was a reason, it'd be extremely easy for every team to show that the vast majority of its workforce, players included are Canadian. Nevermind the staff at Stadiums. Or the television crew from TSN and radio personnel from each team. On top of that, they've already given money to American companies who have laid Canadians off. That theory just doesn't hold any water.

well said!

Collins was also on this team before...and let go. Maybe just maybe the coaching staff that just won a grey cup know what they want/need in a player, and maybe Collins just doesn't fit that...?

I thought this, BEFORE they signed Bear woods lol. I mean they could be really dangerous if the CFL only plays 9 games. Any more than that and their 6 game is gonna be full!!!!

WPG TPR = 3.3% That's 3(?) days in a row it's dropped I think
-
I won't be surprised if there are some big name vets cut before the season by TO.
-
The chants just make themselves! reminiscent of "Rufio!" (Roof E O) from Hook. "Leg E OH!!! Leg E OH!!! Leg E OH!!!"
-
Winnipeg TPR is 3.8%
-
yeah that was a head scratcher there.
-
Winnipeg TPR = 4.0%

They're not wrong

What's the over/under on commercial time?

This is something that is a pretty cool idea. I don't expect it to become hugely successful, but it's an interesting new dynamic to sports. Very beer league feeling to it.

Impossible. It's obvious he wasn't doing anything, just trying on new scarfs and figuring out how he can with hold more information from discussion forums. He's actively trying to kill the CFL and I won't change my mind until he personally makes me a walby burger!!!

It's not only NY being blamed. Dan Crenshaw has been blaming California for it too. Saying that they brought in California like policies when it came to Renewables and that's why they didn't work when the weather hit. Even saying "Renewables don't work in extreme weather". Which is blatantly false and a quick internet search you can find all kinds of renewable energy sources working in much harsher conditions.
