  1. This needs to be a year long thing for next year.
  2. I think there's a case for RD as coach of the year, just like there's a (stronger) case for MOS. But Rod's points don't make any sense. For RD he pointed out that he - Took a new coaching staff to the top, were ALMOST undefeated at home. No one thought RD would work out as a HC before the year started. He ignores that "new" coaching staff had heaps of experience. He was essentially gifted a playoff team via $$$ and he in fact did NOT go perfect at home. Had a few games in a row where he was badly out coached (which happens with Rookie HC). MOS - Rookie OC that made the WPG offence more impressive than their GC winning one. WENT undefeated at home, No one thought WPG would be leading the Leading at the start of the year. Most had them around #3 in the West. Lost is MOP from 2019 for how many games now?
  3. Keeps opponents guessing. One more thing they may have to plan for.
  4. I have had a feeling since I saw him on the sidelines of the Edm game that he is done for the year. Still hope I'm wrong, but I just have a gut feeling.
  5. That's a bit misleading. It's not only that they aren't vaxxed, it's that many aren't ABLE to be because the west is hoarding.
  6. I wonder what the offensive numbers look like with him in compared to out of the line up.
  7. I loved the conditions in that game. That's one of my favorite ways to watch Football live. Cold as all hell!! I remember my beer freezing in the cup and eating it like a slushy.
  8. Great game that was. Just to nit pick a bit...that final touch down wasn't to win the game. It was just the rub it the ticats faces. That game was never in question.
  9. It's official. JCon has confirmed his age of 97 yrs young. WEST SIDE SUCKS!! ALWAYS HAS ALWAYS WILL!!!!!!
  10. Purifoy didn't really say anything outrageous. Can't find anything on Twitter so he either deleted it, or it never happened. Instagram he's just saying usual stuff for players that feel like they got rejected.
  11. This wasn't posted on Social media was it?
  12. Yes it's been discussed on here as well as on other media sites, by people far more in the know. You CAN dress 3 QBs.
  13. Agreed. I seem to remember Irving mentioning that it was a minor injury that occurred in practice.
  14. As of right now. McGuire could very well dress for the WF.
  15. Finish a game? That would be one thing. But there's 2 games left. I would not like to see him start the GC.
  16. That's how I feel too. People also tend to forget that many thought he outplayed Streveler in the 2019 Pre Season. The guy can stand in the pocket and riffle it. Playing with 3rd stringers in a nothing game against a team still playing for a playoff spot is not a death sentence imo. I'd like to see heavy competition in camp next year though.
  17. But he MIGHT have to. That's why he needs to know the playbook as well as whoever he would be replacing. He would be 1 maybe 2 plays away from having to run the Offence for who knows how long. Collaros goes down play #2 Mcguire goes down in 3rd Q. Now we have a qb who only understands 4 maybe 5 plays out of the playbook? That's the potential situation people are asking for. It's not fair for anyone unfortunately.
  18. I think if they signed him, they would announce it asap to help ticket sales/ramp up the city. Unless that happens later today or even tomorrow you're looking at 3 days of practice?
  19. If Streveler is done with the NFL (not likely imo) I would not be surprised to see him in WPG in 2022.
  20. That is true. I guess it depends just how bad the injury is. In terms of waiting on the NFL this year....he could likely do both honestly. Come up here for a bit, then get released to pursue the NFL again. Something else that is part of the equation is his vax status. If he's not vaxxed non of this matters. Either way he'd still have to quarantine for 7 days right? So if he's coming, he had better do so ASAP.
  21. I'm not sure Brown is serviceable. When it comes to air lifting players in. Oshea has seemingly done it right. When they brought Rose in, he let the DBs talk it out to see who should sit. I'd imagine the same would be done for other positions. And in this case, I'd expect Brown to know he should be the odd man out. But I still don't see it happening.
  22. Everyone was so worried that Collaros would go down last week.....how has that changed for the WF? If Streveler is the back up, he's one play away from running the O. Whether Collaros starts or not.
  23. Yeah thats not at all the same. If anything it does show that Oshea is willing to bring a guy in and let him be on the roster over another guy who has been here all year. Which isn't always something he's done in the past. But a CB learning a roll under the same D is VERY different from QB learning the playbook in a different O...even of its just a bit different.
  24. If he's dressing, he needs to know the play as well as whoever he's replacing. Injuries happen in game and if he has to take over due to injury....I want him to be up to date.
  25. I would love for him to come here for the west final to get a standing ovation and pump up the crowd pre game.....don't see him being able to do anything more than that.
