  1. you don't like the constant "WHAT IS HAPPENING?"
  2. I think anyone they bring in now (unless via trade) will almost certainly be behind Wilson on the depth chart. I'd rather let Brady do it honestly. No need to get a QB in there at all. Brady and Johnny in the back field.
  3. umm...he leads the league in special teams tackles!
  4. Off topic but Wilson was at my kids football practice today and said he'd be back after the bye.
  5. "Quite vocal" is a big stretch.
  6. I think most were talking about how dumb it was to play him when they did. He was set up for failure.
  7. When we had that string of injuries to the rec core early. It was painfully obvious he had a hard time adjusting. They use Streveler as a slot and just let him run horrible routes. No changes, no using him as a potential run threat ..just line him up as a rec and go. So much could have been done there, but it was like Buck just wouldn't change course.
  8. If I'm Tre Ford that's exactly what I'm telling EDM I want or I'm walking.
  9. I honestly think CGY is the worst team in the league, If I'm CM, I do nothing but run the ball and let the Defense win the game.
  10. Are you kidding me? A Starting Quality CND QB is MOS wet dream. He might be the only guy who would replace zach in season!!! On another note. I've said since last year I hope Tre moves on from Edm. They've done him no favours. If he does stay I hope he makes them pony up $$$$$$.
  11. A few of the OL were quite upset throughout the game. #55 specifically was pissed at someone in the 2nd half.
  12. For what it's worth. I know KW tried to get Stove back from BC multiple times.
  13. St.James Rods are always lookin for coaches.
  14. 100%. I get that he wanted to spend time with the family. That all makes sense. What doesn't, is his claim the bombers arent family oriented. Of course a coach would say that...because as a pro athlete living in a different city from your family means only 1 thing. Again it just doesn't make sense. He's either just straight up lying or there's more to the story along the lines of the bombers not allowing certain things. But we've got plenty of examples from plenty of players/coaches that clearly show they will allow any player to put their families first. Be it birth/death etc.
  15. absolutely. I'm not arguing that he should have been fine with missing family time. I've made professional decisions based on that too. But to make it out like it was something the Bombers specifically wouldn't allow doesn't make sense on many different levels. Mostly based on what we've seen since he quit. Nevermind all the babies that have been born, guys with older kids always have them around. also lets not pretend that if you got a signing bonus to join a new employer and then immediately changed your mind, there wouldn't be consequences. Chances are you would have been legally required to pay it back and burned all and any bridges with that company. Duraint shouldn't be running his mouth to the media about that situation imo.
  16. But realistically...what did he want? Did the team say....no you can't move your family here? It'd be different if he was working in the same city...nevermind the same country. Every pro athlete misses family time. Making it out that it's some unique thing to the bombers doesn't make sense.
  17. I'd like to thank Duraint for his great decision making. Without him backing out of his contract things may have looked very different for the Bombers. Who knows....maybe the Riders would have made a few more GCs? Not only did he leave money for the Bombers to sign one of their most impactful players but he also opened the door for Streveler. Both of those players have absolutely torched the Riders over the past 5 years. All's fair in love and war!! Thanks for your timing Duraint! Hope to see you retire a Bomber one day!! I mean...their track record speaks for itself. Also...what was he expecting? How many guys miss out on their family time to play pro ball? I don't get it....did he think after every practice he'd be able to fly home? After every game? Those comments were confusing
  18. Sure, but the discussion revolved around whether a team would be willing to pick up his current contract instead of waiting for him to be cut if the bombers some how landed VA. I have a hard time seeing anyone starting Collaros (outside of wpg) next year assuming nothing changes. I have a harder time seeing him as a backup with his current price tag.
  19. I was assuming he'd have been used more traditionally than what we saw in Ottawa.
  20. yeah I believe he is more than good enough to be a starting CFL qb. I also think this team would have been in 1st place a few weeks ago had he been the starter all year.
  21. I feel like I've made my position on the "Streveler must be injured" theory clear...I'm not sure I see a situation where an injury would be bad enough to give coaches a doubt that he could properly throw if needed, while also allowing him to run as hard as he can into a pile of men bigger than he is, or turning corners and putting his head down inviting contact....? Those two things don't correlate. Which leaves....Streveler either isn't good enough...or these particular coaches don't think he is good enough.
  22. Yes, both VA and Trevor harris have had to find new teams coming off one of their worst years ever and having turned 37? Last year...I could understand an argument that someone would want Zach. Next season...I think that list will be limited to WPG.
  23. A wise GM would do their best to never trade a starting caliber QB to their biggest division rival. Outside of that reason. Bombers would also have to trade Collaros or be on the hook for his contract.
  24. SSks defence is good enough to win a game or 2. Cgy is trash all around and getting worse.
  25. Sneak into playoffs? They're a threat to sneak into 1st.
