  1. Exactly. Trying to take anything out of what MOS says about players is 100% a waste of time.
  2. I dont know. I think we (people who are on this board) over exaggerate things sometimes. I'd say most fans or the casual fans didnt really give a **** about waiting on the CBA. I dont think the league held it back because they just wanted too, they likely had to cross some T's and dot some I's. And then with the NFL doing what they did with CFL players under contract that may have delayed things as well if changes needed to be made. (All speculation fyi). For what it's worth. I was never upset at all about the CBA being delayed. It 100% wasnt even on my radar.
  3. except this time, Willie Jefferson showed up and slapped the ball out of her hands, told Charlie to hit the road and let Medlock do his thing!
  4. 100% Arbuckle was gone. He wasnt going to be sitting behind Bo when there would be teams asking for him to come in and at the very least compete to start. Cgy got WAY more for Arbuckle then I thought they were going to get.
  5. Weird. This topic title says "2019 Grey Cup Champions". I must have stumbled in to the USA politics thread.
  6. Interesting. I thought for sure Arbuckle would be heading to TO. I really hope Walters is speaking with Collaros to try and get him signed now. He is at the very least healthy enough to start day 1. Nichols is not (as of now). And if we lose out on Collaros we could really be in a bind.
  7. Evans isn't going to be a FA until next off season. He can demand a trade all he wants it won't happen. Not unless the deal is good etc. But to say he's going to demand a raise/trade is ridiculous, He holds very little power in his current situation.
  8. I think the decision was with Masoli. Hamilton said they wanted him back before the year was over.
  9. I'm really surprised by this honestly. Thought he might try FA. Solid signing for sure.
  10. If he's going to be selected it would be under the SAM position. Which is technically a linebacker spot.
  11. that's just it. A tell was his response about not having any QBs. First he said how it's based off the teams current roster and how the Bombers don't have any QB's under contract. But they technically do. The bombers have 4 qbs under contract right now...and they will still have 1 come Free agency. This was 100% strictly to rile people up/share an opinion no one asked for/try to make the crider fans feel better about their pathetic season. People are getting way too upset about it.
  12. Depends on how he recovers. Throwing shoulder injury....he could legitimately be done. Assuming he heals up just fine, then yeah he's got lots of game left.
  13. By that time they will almost have as many GC wins as the Bombers do now.
  14. He had his moments of both. At times he couldn't be beat. Other times he couldn't stop anything. He was often a big play either way. When he recently posted on Instagram congratulating the Bombers on winning the Grey Cup, he mentioned something about being a bit sour with the Bombers...so not sure his bomber career ended on the greatest of terms or not. He certainly implied there was some kind of issue. Now whether that was shared between both parties...who knows...but I think there was more to him leaving then just the money.
  15. I prefer this memory;
  16. Something that always seemed odd to me about his hiring, was that, that type of job is almost "dream status"(doing the PBP for the bombers would be a dream come true for me)..the person who gets it should want to be there for a long ass time and the organization should want a lifer as well. I cant imagine DT as a life long Rider PBP guy considering how his on screen career was going. But who knows maybe hes given up.
  17. When I heard they had been practicing indoors, I thought that was really odd and just a bad idea overall. You'd think they'd want to get used to the elements as there was no escaping them.
  18. I hope both start off gangbusters and go 6-0. Only to **** the bed the rest of the year.
  19. I wandered over to criderville a few days ago. It was fantastic. I personally loved their take on Willie J winning the MODP and how he didn't deserve it because he only had 24 tackles. Apparently, if he couldn't beat the Olineman he was playing he would forget about staying in position and just try to play the pass. lol. The total lack of football knowledge on almost any level is hilarious to say the least....yes there little rider I'm sure he just gave up and decided to do his own thing on any given play...it definitely wasn't part of the defensive scheme to have him drop into coverage occasionally. Absolutely not. On top of that he was so bad at tackling that teams just didn't run the ball, because they felt bad for him. Had nothing at all to do with the fact he was part of one of the best run defenses in CFL history. It'd be sad if it wasn't so funny.
  20. Oh I know. I even agree with the original premise that Streveler seems to give the team a boost and some pep in their step. But to ask for an example of how someone is a leader to a team none of us are on is borderline trolling at best.
  21. Give us examples of Streveler being a leader. Answer: you cant. No fan is able too with either guy, cause (shocking!!) None of us are in the ******* huddle. Stop being uber skunk its annoying.
