He said he was changing his role, not his position. Maston played there, and played well against the same team they're playing in a few days. That's not stupid...secondary positions need to stay the same as much as possible.

I'm ok with them being involved. But how do they have the majority of votes? I believe they just changed that a few years ago...I thought it was odd then and I still do. Maybe an even split of coaches and media...?? I don't know. But you'd think they give coaches more of a say on who their best players are...
-
Why St vital? The stadium is like 10 minutes away. Should have done Garden City or Polo park.

Yes. Specifically the NFL.
-
Yeah remember the ratings of the NFL when they had an East vs West championship and marketed it that way for decades...and then changed it without losing a beat? Remember that? I'm not even arguing against you and the idea of forming one division. I personally don't give a ****. But your comparison doesn't float because the NFL was never about E vs W. There is no showing that their ratings dropped or got better when they switched. Because they never switched. Their Divisional system is different.
-
Its something I always thought was weird. Like how come the team doesnt decide who is their best player?
-
Wtf are you talking about? What argument? I said your comparison doesnt work. Because it doesn't. But please go ahead and tell me about my argument since you know it so well. Lol Also sorry I for shitting in your cereal this morning.

yes. that's the point I made.

Feel the same. If there was even a slight drop off in play from Harris, I could maybe understand. But he's been just as good after the test. Wyman talks about the research he did to come to his conclusion...but I'm not sure what he's looking at. If he did anything he would have seen how long the drug stays in the system, what kind of dose is needed and how often. The answers to all of those questions put doubt into how Andrew would have benefited with the amount he had. Add to that his performance for the games since and the fact that other rb's had 2 games to catch him for the rushing title and still haven't, I'm not sure how anyone could not vote for him? I can understand the league not giving him the award. But his own team/media is a straight up slap in the face.
-
Both Bob and MOS said they would or did vote for Harris. That leave Wyman Bauming and Friesen. I'm most surprised by Bauming. And honestly disappointed by it. Likely won't be listening to his show anymore.
-
I just reacted that way as I don't think it's a fair comparison. The NFL was never about east vs west. Its division system is a completely different beast.
-
So he should just react without thinking about it, even though it could cost his team in a major way? Even though he has people who are paid to look at those plays and advise? even though he has an opportunity to question refs about the play? He should just react, to show he supports his QB to fans who for some reason question that? Why not just have him call a timeout for no reason at all, would do the same thing.
-
Wrong. MOS said after the game the refs told him the commander centre was looking at the hit. Would have been a wasted challenge.
-
Oshea mentioned in the post game that the refs told him the commander centre was looking at the head shot to Collaros. (And they still missed it!!!) So would have been a wasted challenge.
-
What an exciting game start to finish. Few things of note, thought the Dline had a bit more pressure this game. Bailey and Lawler just keep producing. Adams made a nice play to break up an under thrown ball. Not to crap on Collaros, but wtf was he seeing on the Int? 4 stamps around Adams....bad decision on an otherwise solid night. Calgary showed who they were again last night, Bo taunting the bomber bench, telling fans in the front row they wasted their money. And cant forget about Dicki getting into the ears of the refs every opportunity he got. I am glad I wasn't in the endzone section during rogers celebration, cause I probably would have been kicked out. There would have been beers and spit heading in his direction.

Sorry I meant, if hamilton resigns Masoli, teams could be lining up to get Evans. Especially at his current pay scale.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/514-wellington-heritage-conservation-city-winnipeg-demolition-lawsuit-1.5332879 Anyone been watching this? I drive by this home every damn day on my way back from work. And it annoys the hell out of me that a small group of people where able to dictate what the owners could or could not do, AFTER they got a permit to do the work. Of course no one in the group protesting this is willing to cough up the money to fix it or even purchase it themselves. And now tax payers are going to be paying for this in the courts. I've heard a few reasons, main one being a multiple family place would devalue the area...unlike a completely empty building that's slowly deteriorating....that's what people want!!
-
I think Harris will be a Bomber until he decides he's done. Don't see any coach or management getting rid of him. Not only because he's extremely talented but it would be a PR nightmare.
-
I don't actually want him banned, I generally don't mind him. But don't post **** like that.
-
I can definitely see that too. But I can see Masoli really wanting to come back to Hamilton, as that's where all his success has been. And the team obviously knows him and his capabilities. If TO or OTT or someone else is willing to give up some solid assets for Evans, you'd be crazy to not look at it. We've seen guys come in and light it up for a year and then disappear, Masoli has been performing well for a few years now. Argument could be made you're taking a chance with Evans as he could regress. I'm also not sure Masoli will be able to demand that much more of a raise...So they might be able to get him signed and have both to a similar amount as this year. Lots of interesting scenarios this off season.
-
If Collaros goes on a tear and takes the team to the GC, that could make for an interesting off season. I'm in the group of "Do not resign him, regardless of what happens. Even a GC win!". I'm tired of have to deal with a glass QB (I don't consider Nichols a glass qb) like buck and willy. I can see both Nichols and Streveler coming back...and honestly I would be ok with that.
-
Yeah I know...but I can see Masoli coming back for a reasonable amount and them being able to fleece TO or OTT for Evans. I'm not saying it's 100% going to go this way but I wouldn't be surprised.

Exactly. I hate that, oh it's no fair, bs. You want "fair" go play checkers with your grandma. This is real life, get over it. Be better, work harder.
