  1. I don't think this game goes the same way the last Argo game went. I see the Argos making a better game of it. Bombers win, maybe by only 1 or 2 scores though. I also don't buy into the "Bombers better win by 1000 or else!" narrative. That's for people who have never played the game.
  2. Agreed. Adams isn't built for the slot. He has a hard enough time staying healthy playing WR. Would love to see what Woli could do closer to the ball.
  3. Anyone wanna copy the article? I don't wanna subscribe. lol
  4. I'll watch the NFL, but I don't follow it too closely. Fills the need for football when the CFL is done. I've been a cowboys fan for as long as I can remember. Started back in the early 90's...no not because they were the team to beat back then, as I wasn't old enough to really understand that. My Grandma bought two hats while in the states, my brother got one. I got the other...just so happened to be a Cowboys hat.
  5. But wasn't Collaros the answer? Remember Rods claim of an 18-0 season if they signed him? lol Also someone needs to seriously tell this guy to hang em up. He just went from one suspect Oline to a team with a absolutely horrible Oline....he won't finish the year.
  6. Who is the odd man out?
  7. Yes the reciever did what he was supposed to do. I'm not arguing that. People are saying that was a well thrown ball, I dont think it was. I'd be willing to bet that Nichols doesnt either. I'm not saying every ball needs to be perfect. I'm not saying Nichols sucks because of that ball. I'm not saying demski should have done more. Im only saying, that ball was under thrown, hence not a well thrown ball. People can keep arguing but the proof is in the pudding. For an example of what I think a well thrown, or even perfectly thrown ball is....see Demskis two other deep TD passes from earlier this year.
  8. My point is, he only hit his shoulder because Demski essentially laid down on his back. The ball was very much under thrown.
  9. No, if it was even a remotely well thrown ball, Demski would not have had to basically stop and lay backwards in order to even have a shot at it. He had a step on the coverage and the ball should have hit him in stride. I'm not saying he shouldn't have caught it, cause he had a shot. But I don't consider that ball to be well thrown at all.
  10. I'm not sure I'd call that pass "perfect". Catchable, maybe...but certainly not perfect.
  11. I hope the riders just keep looking better and better. Will make it all the sweeter when the bombers ******* crush their delusion of a playoff berth/win.
  12. Kind of off topic, but I noticed this past week during the TO and Edm game when they were listing longest Losing streaks by a Head Coach that Bud Grant was near the top of the list. Something like 13 in a row I think. Goes to show you that even the greats struggle.
  13. This is a fair point. But the lack of running was still annoying.
  14. Lapo does this often. Like at least once a year. Where he seems to think "(Insert team that's bad against the run) is expecting us to run it down their throats, soooo we'll come out throwing!!" There was a home game against BC a few years ago were something similar happened. BC was awful (surprise surprise!) against the run, it was late in the year and a cold day. Bombers being the hard nosed team they were didn't run the ball until 2nd ******* quarter (or at least well into the game). The people around me were cheering and high fiving me after the 1st run cause I was screaming at Lapo to run the ball. BC was a soft indoor team that couldnt stop the run, playing in the cold!!! ******* run it!!! God, still pisses me off lol.
  15. Nichols was playing against a solid Defence and the wind. He was the only qb on the field. Our Defence played very well against a back up qb. The two are related, however not in the sense that it was QB vs QB. I've never understood that comparison.
  16. Lol if the bombers only win by 1 point, will they receive any less points in the standings? If they lose, will they be eliminated from playoffs?
  17. I give the Defense credit, but would be lying to myself if I ignored the flat out horrible throws to open receivers.
  18. Please let Watford come in and torch them lol
  19. Completely agree. Masoli is in and the team likely gives up far more points.
  20. If you heard Hardrick after the game, once he was told that Oshea agreed they got physically dominated he said he was ready to go back out and start hitting people.
  21. This is my biggest complaint. Especially when your qb is struggling. And your RB is getting solid yardage. Classic Lapo.
  22. We will just have to agree to disagree about the big game stuff. He absolutely played terrible last night, I'm not questioning that. My point about the TD drive was just that he came out and responded, which is a great sign. The game didnt turn around but at the very least he was still firing the ball. The last drive, a few things caused the crap results. Injuries being one. Throwing into the wind. And lack of protection. I was saying he needed to start forcing the ball there, but that's not the kind of player he is, so it didnt surprise me. He did what he needed to, to keep the drive alive, but it was too little too late. Throwing the ball deep into coverage could have resulted in another int ending the game, so its damned if you do damned lf you dont. Too bad the game ended on a sack, cause we can only speculate what that call would have been.
  23. On the last Drive, Lucky was running some lazy routes. You could see immediately that he was not going deep. A few things play in to that, but at the same time, you still gotta run hard in that kind of situation. Was very disappointing.
  24. I think this is the earliest I've ever been out...
