To be fair, they did pick up Micah and Solo. However. Micah won't be the game changer Jefferson was. Don't get me wrong. He's very good. But is he going to take over games, and even win games by scoring points? No he isn't. Solo is an interesting one...is he going to be as good as he was in BC? When is he going to play even?

It reads like it was either one of their top WR or Reilly. Saying that, based solely on those statements I think he was refering to Williams. To good for the team, bigger then the team...both Reilly and Walker knew their NFL time was over or close to it. Williams saw the $$$$ coming his way for sure. So wouldn't surprise me if it was him.

Yeah I think Mtl is going to be better then most think. Solid D, and they have weapons on O. The coaching change will bring its challenges, however it sounds like it was mostly player driven, so that could have brought the locker room together. They could make some noise.

I remember that game. Everyone was predicting an Argo win. Ray at qb, Argos had Burke as DC. And bombers had a new Willy....who subsequently went out and absolutely torched Burke and his man Defense. It was fantastic. I was so high on Willy after that, stood in the pocket with authority back then. Stepping into throws. Oh if we only knew then what we know now. If you beat your Willy too much, it stops working.

There is zero doubt about Coombs talent. His issue is purely health related. Has he ever played more then 10 games in a year?

Well he had a similar play in Edm. Had a few decent blocks in that game as well. Also blocked a punt in....bc I think. He's got the talent, just needs to figure it out or get in the right situation.

Irving said before last game that he hadn't really stood out during TC or the first game. And he stood out more often the nit for the wrong reasons this last game.

Yeah Bennett has always intrigued me too. When he left here the first time I thought it was a mistake. I think given another year or two he could be a starter in the league. Just depends on his development really. Has all the tools.
