  1. Obviously both QB's had rough days. The fever more so than Davis. He just tried to do too much and made some moronic throws out there. Davis wasn't given anything to work with. He's got great skills outside the pocket so why not let him use it? I think next year both will be in a battle for the 2nd string, but only one stays and that's likely Davis...but who knows. Both will need to prove something in TC.
  2. That play legit drove me crazy. MOVE YOUR ******* FEET DENMARK!!!! I spent a good portion of the game just watching Denmark, he ran some extremely lazy routes when he knew he wasn't getting the ball. Though a few times he was WIDE open, and just didn't get a look. Had a bad drop as well. But the play you're talking about drove me nuts. Your QB rolls out, you move your ass up or down the field. You never ever just stand there. I was losing it.
  3. Technically i was right...sooo back off will ya!!!
  4. To be fair, I was just assuming they were...I don't actually know....if only I had a way to find out....
  5. I'm all for expansion in Canada, I just don't see it happening out east for the reasons that have been listed..but also, how shitty would the game times be out there? Especially if you're on the west coast. Or how late would the game start if they were visiting the Lions. I just don't see it happening in the East. I think Quebec would be the farthest it could work.
  6. Good points. Those are two teams...what about the 6 others? I was trying to point out that, not every team has added these great season changing players. I dont even think the two you mentioned are season changers. But they have contributed. Mostly due to injury. Much like Givens here in WPG.
  7. Honest question. Who are the other teams bringing in mid season that have made a big difference and improved them?
  8. Yea it has nothing to do with the defence not being able to stop anything....i mean worse to or close to worse in yards given up 3 years straight is an Offensive problem...not defense. All football minds know that.
  9. They've played better than I thought they would. Mostly on the arm of KG who played better than I thought he would...though I will give Jones credit for pulling him when he needs to be pulled (something other coaches didn't always do). On the play of Carter in D. Am I the only one who actually watched him? Balls being over thrown/under thrown don't make me impressed with his play. His pick 6 was 100% an under throw. The REC was behind him, it was just a poorly thrown pass. He didn't make a great play on the ball, he did have a nice run for the TD though I'll give him that. He was also beat on a Deep pass in the 1st half that was just over thrown. So while he made a good play once the ball was in his hands, his coverage skills aren't all that impressive. I'm getting tired of hearing about how good he was as a DB. He flat out got lucky. End of story. I pray to god that he needs to line up against Darvin in the playoffs.
  10. was that during their 7-0 start or the 0-6 streak after that? Poor choice as an example is all I'm saying. CGY or even SSK would have been better.
  11. I believe that was for punting
  12. "punishing" a player by moving them to another position where they can then show they are actually more versatile and then use that in negotiations to earn more money....Do you see why that makes no sense? You don't punish pro athletes by allowing them to show off their skills. You punish them by not paying them (however that may look, fine, suspension etc etc etc)
  13. I also don't like that he likely has a pretty good take on the bombers playbook....Jones is a dirty **** and I wouldn't put it past him to sign this guy for that reason alone.
  14. honestly surprised he hasn't gone back. At the very least it opens up the fakes again. Coates isn't a threat to take it a run.
  15. Gotta wonder what's up. He leaves the Blue apparently due to not enough playing time, and ends up on the Riders who have a stronger Rec group. I don't see how he cracks that lineup without injuries.
  16. Even when he made that late one he looked like he was going to cry. Im assuming his mental toughness is high, but it sure didnt look like it yesterday.
  17. I refuse to say they lost on a missed field goal....they lost cause the D couldn't have stopped a high school team from moving the ball. I hope they're all embarrassed at that performance. One of the worst ive ever seen. An 11-5 team needs to be better.
  18. Him being a **** isnt what keeps him out of the NFL. Its him being dumber than a door knob. Honestly, that guy is a stereotypical football player. All athlete and no brains. Its difficult just listening to him. Couldnt imagine trying to teach him.
  19. Cant see it being porter. That would leave them very thin in the backfield....though i guess Jones can play cb....
  20. It was one week. Dressler went down the game after he quit. Would be a shame if that's how his career ended.
  21. Not sure the need is there. Does he play SAM or WIL?
  22. hhmmm...wonder if they have any interest in Burnett?
  23. Damn this hurts. Where TF is that CODY poster....giving me hope and all that ****!! "sources" my ass!!!!
  24. Yes obviously it's everyones job. I was just stating the obvious. When this team looks for a big play. They look to Leggett, the same way CGY looks to Singleton.
  25. I see what you mean. And you're likely right in terms of changing things to fit the player, especially if they are the star type like ELI or Singleton etc. But The bombers have had other players in that role and the results are similar. Not saying Hurl can't be upgraded, his pass coverage alone gives me shivers. But he isn't the play maker on this D. The MLB has't been the play maker for 3 years now.
