What have they proven? That when they are gifted a legendary QB they can win? Or that they can develop QB's and immediately let them go? Or that they can lose a locker room? Sorry just trying to figure out what they've proven. And considering Football is a "what have you done lately" business...the question is, What have they done lately? I'm not sure based on that alone, how anyone could want to make a trade like you're suggesting.

Loffler didnt have time to stop and say...oh ok he didn't catch it. He was in the air when Manny tipped the ball away. He was making a football play during the most important game of the year to seperate the ball from the rec. Didn't lead with his head. Even turned away from the hit. Two big guys running like that, there's bound to be an accident here or there. They called Loffler only cause Manny didn't get up. it unfortunate, but you can't penalise guys for accidents. If Loffler had jumped under Manny's chin, then sure that's not good. But he didn't. Manny was Ko'd as a result of playing hard football. Not cause Loffler tried to hurt him.

He got penalized because Manny got KO'd. Case in point...Dressler gets leveled the play before the field goal..no penalty on the same type of hit. Only one difference. Dressler got up. Accidents happen. When there is no illegal actions involved, you can't penalise a guy for an accident.

about time. I've always believed Kohlert could be a top CND rec in this league, but his play has dropped considerably. I've also believed that JFG has been under used since joining the bombers. So hopefully he performs well this week and makes another couple of clutch grabs!!

It's also everyone's first year in this system. While I think things could be better, I'm willing to give them a break due to it being new. Next year at this time I'm hoping (assuming Lapo isn't a HC somewhere) things will be better than they are now. Saying that I still think our O is better than what the stats say. For the most part they've been able to put drives together when they needed to be. Big plays, solid runs, long drives etc. The bombers have gotten it done in almost every way you could want all year long.

Not true at all. At this point in the year, you don't make a QB change to win the game. You make to protect your starter. There's zero reason to believe Davis/Glenn would have changed anything. However Nichols was out there taking hits for no reason.
