Also for the draft picks remember how great Poblah turned out to be? I wouldn't be bragging about the guys we added just yet. I was only looking for examples. And while yes the riders did sign two starting CND's in their prime. We've added (upgrades) 3 starters for sure...but possibly 6 depending on how TC works. It's not a reach at all to think Chungh Richards and Waggoner will start for the bombers at some point this season. While the jury is still out, Walters may have brought in 6 quality CND starters this off season. That's something I'm not sure the CFL has seen in a long time.

Well I like long term planning. To me it is a bit of a red flag. I'd be much more comfortable with a 3 year deal, considering most rookies don't make much of an impact their first year. I'm not sure there is such a thing as long term planning in the CFL... This is true. I'm guessing he wants to keep his options open in case the NFL is a possibility. And really, can't blame him.

My only problem with Mike is his condescending "know it all " approach to others, and how we have a 20 year old kid giving lectures to posters on these forums like he knows it all, and has life all figured out. His approach just rubs me the wrong way, and he's the only person on these forums that stands out like that because of his know it all attitude, and just dismissing other posters ideas. I think I might need to just start doing what you used to do with Mike's posts and just ignore them. And I get it he has his posse on here, who back him no matter what, so I'm going to lose any internet pissing contest, but that's fine with me. I'm here because I love the Bombers and love discussing Bombers, not to make any friends. lol who's defending him though? Everyone is just saying, stop with the pissing match. While this is true. Taman's MO is to build a powerhouse at any cost, and then rebuild. That's not what I want. Especially because we just had Taman do it...and if you don't win it all...it's even worse, as we all know. I want a huff or a Pop or a Buono. Someone who is going to build a powerhouse that stays that way for years. I'd trade that for a GC win at home 100%. While the jury is still out on the Riders this season and Taman's legacy there, bomber fans have seen this all before which is why it's so funny.

Some rider fans think taman is going to make an offer to Walters for #2 that would include hus....but considering he's currently exploring the nfl...why would anyone risk that?

This is just another step in the direction the riders where bound to go once they signed Taman.

I don't mind that. But I think Bucknor is better than JFG. But I guess it also depends on....would the INT rec make a bigger impact than the INT db.

I would rather have a guy that can do both, you know...like most of the other GMs. Yeah, I'm not sure having 25% of your starting lineup really strong and 75% kinda meh is a formula for success. Every GM we've had has demonstrated some positives and some negatives. What with them being human and all... Pff lame humans.
