  1. Yeah I don't see the Bombers locking up 8-900k on two players. Zacks last year is his most expensive I believe. And Like others have said, Strevy will likely be in demand. I love the idea of him back here, but I'm not sure it's feasible.
  2. My thinking was that, I'm skepitcal Brown is going to be a starting QB for the Bombers. Not because he isn't good enough, but because he will have an opportunity elsewhere while Collaros plays out this contract. Prukop is not a franchise guy. He is what he is. Piggy....? Who knows...he very well could be a franchise guy. I figured, he could do the 3rd qb job while developing and IF brown leaves, we have another QB in the pipeline. As I see it right now. We could be in a very different qb situation come next year (not that, that matters right now).
  3. Welp....Bombers released Pigrome and signed Prukop
  4. There was a significant difference in play calling on O. And I'm not entirely sure why. But the lack of bailey/demski out of the back field was baffling. The lack of adjustments to help Bryant against Betts was also frustrating. BC played well, but the Bombers play calling didn't do them any favors.
  5. was there a practice today?
  6. Well yeah. No one is on top forever.
  7. It's not out of the realm of possibilities that someone was trying to connect to her TV. It can be done. She's still crazy for a whole bunch of other reasons though.
  8. Meh...in football you are what you are. And right now BC is top dog. I've always thought VA could be a solid CFL qb. I'm glad he's gotten a good chance. By all accounts his TC was great, and he's said he feels the most comfortable he's ever felt in this O scheme. I wish more qbs got the time to develop into a good CFL qb. We need it.
  9. I just don't see the upside to bringing Prukop back.
  10. Oh my bad. I thought he caught the last ball there
  11. Choosing prukop over pigrome would be a mistake imo. Pigrome could very well be the next starting qb for the Bombers.(could also be a total flop, time will tell) we don't really know what we have in him. We know exactly what Prukop is. Edm can sign Prukop. Piggy needs to be in blue and gold.
  12. The clock stops between plays, he was pretty far down field from his team and they were going to be kicking.
  13. I honestly don't think our DBs problem is tackling/physical play...like not even close. I've seen Holm tackle the RB, as far as I've seen our DBs have not been whiffing on tackles. Like at all. The problem is they are having to tackle too much. Coverage has been the issue. Holm has far and away been our best cover guy outside of Houston. If we're relying on our field side HB to make plays on the RB...that's a problem, full stop. He's going to have to from time and time that's just football, and he has. But I completely disagree that Holms has somehow been a liability more so than any other DB outside of Houston.
  14. Watching the replay on TV, the tip of the ball absolutely hit the ground. How that wasn't reviewed by the command centre is still a mystery to me.
  15. Maybe the single worse game I've seen Mr.Bryant play as a Bomber. He was getting burnt all game long. People talking about the Defense etc etc...who didn't perform like we're used to in years past. But we all talked about how that's how this team was going to be this year. 30+ points would be needed more often than not. This loss is 100% on the offense. More specifically on the Olines pass protection. And I'll even throw Buck under the bus a bit as the play calling was bland and didn't help the protection issues going on all night. Not sure why that happens, but it was frustrating to watch. That deep pass to Schoen that was just out of reach when he had 2 steps on Sayles...it was a double move and for whatever reason, we he came out of his stop, he slowed down and then realized the ball was on the way. If he runs hard like he normally does, that's 6 points. Dunigan even commented on him slowing down after the replay.
  16. Pretending if TO just had a superstar player, they would suddenly become popular in TO is a losing strategy that's been tried multiple times with actual NFL superstars lol. It also removes the responsibility of the pos owners who do nothing to promote that team. There are good ways to grow fan bases and the Argos have tried none of them. If everything goes perfectly, and Kelly becomes the face of the CFL, like speedflex said, he's gone before the CFL execs can blink. That's who they want to tie a new market to?
  17. I'd argue Kelly is barely recognizable outside of most fairly hardcore football fans. And the CFL will very likely still have to make something out of VA and schiltz as Kelly played one game with some lucky bounces that went his way. I'm not at all a believer. Kelly will make TO as relevant as McBeth did. Take that to the bank.
  18. The key is getting pressure and containing. If they contain but don't get pressure it won't matter. The trick with Collaros is doing both, not just one.
  19. https://twitter.com/ThoughtsNations/status/1671743885129961472 A "vote for the good of the economy" (Which it actually won't be, but we've been down that road) and vote to ignore your own peoples history!
  20. Why do you insist on saying this about polls? You know they don't ask every voting age Canadian lol. It makes any point you're trying to make laughable.
  21. It's honestly impressive how often this happens.
  22. He was a keynote speaker at a conference I went to back in the day. It was fantastic!
  23. It's honestly never been a problem for us. Have missed maybe a couple of home games throughout the 16 yrs...but I honestly can't remember. I am missing this weeks game because of her....ok well...it's because I got her pregnant...and then 9 yrs later that kid wanted to play flag football, which happened to be on thursdays and the head coach is on holidays so i'm filling in....I can blame her right? lol
