The Lion coach reminds me a lot of MOS. Just seems like a solid player coach who wants to do things the right way and has built a tough team that is always going to compete. Lions fans must be happy!! Imagine going 0-16...now they're beating the former SB Champ, in their house, on opening day!! Can't help but cheer for them.

On that specific play. It's one db that would already be out of making the first contact on Ouellette. It provided tape making sure it won't work for the rest of the year. Just bad use of it imo.

I disagree that it was maybe one of those times. It 100% wasn't. Away game, down a score being put into easy scoring position is never the time to take a penalty. I was watching a montage of the late hits Zach has taken. And a perfect example of a good time to take that kind of penalty and absolutely try to get back at someone was the Simone hit when zach was in SSK. His OLINE should have ripped his head off. Early in the game/season.

And that penalty would have offset instead of giving the Bombers the go ahead score. Taking a penalty there would have been flat out stupid. Oline, especially the Bombers Oline knows how to get back at him physically. Why take a penalty when you can inflict pain on the next set of downs? Actually you don't say it. You type it. I would have given McCrae 1 more game honestly. It wasn't much, but he did break a decent return against MTL. Maybe that was the start of something...? probably not, but I thought it would have been good to see. Parker was a disappointment imo. Just doesn't look to have that burst that good returners have. That's what I like about McCrae, if given a lane he has the speed to score from anywhere. I'm not sure the same can be said about Parker....he looked flat out slow out there. In all 3 losses, Zach has pushed the ball downfield when shorter throws were there. He's done it every game honestly, but the losses stick out more! lol
