  1. True, but in those two cases, 1 of the situations results in some of the money actually getting to people who need help. I've worked in non profits and there's loads of wasted money, bad actors...etc etc. But at the end of the day, some (never enough) of the funds STILL reach the people they were intended to reach. Tax cuts to wealth do nothing for society except prop up old boys clubs that have been and will continue to be a virus on this planet like they has been for centuries. Actually something I REALLY want to see from any "liberal/left" government is a BIG push on patriotism via taxes. I want to say it blows my mind they haven't thought of this already, but it doesn't. I know why they won't ever do it, but some people get pissy when you call the left crooks so I won't. But all this "MAGA/TAKE BACK ALBERTA/CANADA STRONG...BS, should be used against those tools. They all talk about back in the day and how things used to be...but they NEVER mention the tax rates and what they were. Close the loopholes. "BE PATRIOTIC!! SHOW US HOW MUCH YOU LOVE YOUR COUNTRY BY SHARING YOUR TAXES. YOU'LL BE A HERO! NATIONAL TREASURE...ETC ETC ETC.." Jerk those egos off!! PP/Trudeau won't ever do that though, because those pensions/corporate gigs after office, are a little too nice. Not always. The only good Nazi is a dead one.
  2. I 100% agree with this. However. Expect any government to implement it properly is a fools game. At this point in time, you'd have to be a complete idiot to assume a government will somehow be able to fix all the corrupt bs that makes it fail. To clarify I'm not saying you're an idiot...I'm saying we can't rely on a system that assumes people in power won't use that power to manipulate said system. Manipulation will 100% happen, regardless of who is in charge. Our systems whether taxing or otherwise need to be manipulation proof and not "Trust the people in charge will do the right thing" because time has proven they will not.
  3. I'm 100% positive someone HAS posted something like that on the football side.
  4. Yeah, i'll be surprised if Collaros plays at all. I'll be down right flabbergasted if he plays more than a series or two.
  5. Dave doing everything he can to make the Lk's look good already. 1v1's lol. almost but no cigar.
  6. I agree. Not all of it went to social programs. But that will be were PP gets his "savings". Book it. I should clarify that I don't believe PP will stop the spending at all. It will likely even increase. But he will stop spending on social programs.
  7. yes, by cutting social programs that will no doubt have zero impact on the most disenfranchised in our society. BUT he's already said he'll be tough on crime...which we know works wonderfully. It's not like we can see this coming. PP is so new to politics none of us really know what to expect from the guy.
  8. you're right...maybe I missspoke on them being impossible. The countries who have most recently ran a balanced federal budget are - - - - - - Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Luxembourg and Germany. I look forward to the PP lead PC's adopting some of their governance policies...
  9. do I have an unreasonable amount of free time right now...no, I do not. Did that stop me from combing through his tweets to find said bashing...no it did not. Unfortunately, the timeline cut off in OCT 2019. Which I believe is 1 month after the interview. I will say this. His most recent tweets about the Bombers are so brutal I couldn't believe it. He called them "The Best organization in the CFL" ONLY THE CFL MOE?!?!! TRY IN ALL OF SPORTS!!! prick. Honestly though, the only thing i found that made me, well concerned for the guy was his retweets about crazy Qanon **** like Pizza gate etc.
  10. I for one will not. I WILL continue to say toldyaso though. Cause PP ain't fixing ****.
  11. Can you show an example of any person from any party just straight up answering a question in QP? fixed that for you. Balanced budgets are an impossibility in todays world. Expecting them is like expecting expecting Noeller to fall in love with the riders.
  12. I remember when I first starting paying attention to politics. It absolutely blows my mind that fully grown adults think changing who is in charge will somehow make things different lol. It's like this weird amnesia comes over the country every ten years or so...."(Party that's currently in power) is making a joke out of our nation/parliament/democracy/economy/any dumb word that gets the people riled up......lets vote in that other party that will certainly make the changes this country needs and definitely won't end up in the exact same situation 10 years from now. The leader of the opposition just promised that HE knows how to make things better for MY life!! He also promised he isn't just talking out his ass to get power! Wow!! He's got my vote!"
  13. Yeah cause the inquiry would have definitely stopped it. Remind me....who signed FIPA again?
  14. I dont disagree with you, but an inquiry does absolutely nothing. Cons in one breathe cry about spending....while in the next want what would certainly be an expensive inquiry to tell us all what we already know....there is outside influence and there's basically sweet **** all we can do about it. Do I think the last election was impacted to the extent PP wants people to believe it was....no....not even remotely close. But hey, it's not expensive if the PCs want it. Liberals were in a no win situation here. Don't call an inquiry....see response above.....call an inquiry, it's too much spending....it's not being done by the right people...if they find nothing...see above response....if they find something, liberals are at fault...PP talks about stolen elections etc etc. Blah blah blah blah, more taxes lost to some stupid political game.
  15. que the - THE LIBERALS ARE HIDING THEIR CRIMES! crowd...
  16. you're assuming those players aren't participating in TC because they're hurt....TC being the key word. These aren't "practices". It's close. But it's training camp. The two are different.
  17. the oars look like feathers. Without those I'd like the jersey a lot more. It's pretty solid either way. But the oars suck.
  18. This the interview yall crying about lol? talk about thin skin
  19. Kongbo had some spectacular plays. You're crazy if you think he's just another pass rusher. Assuming he is the same as 2021, he will be a difference maker for the Lions.
  20. Yhats what I mean though. I might actually take kongbo over Jeffcoat at this point as a 1 for 1 trade off.
  21. You gotta think Kongbos NFL window is pretty well closed...is kongbo worth cutting/trading Jeffcoat? Lions cut two to make the room. Including an aging DE.
