  1. GC was less than a month ago!!!!! WHY HAVEN"T WE SIGNED ALL THE FA YET?!?!?!?! If we don't sign GENO LEWIS AND MCMANIS BY THE END OF THE MONTH, NEXT YEAR WILL BE A DISASTER!!!!
  2. When 66 says something. They listen. I believe sheed wanted to be that guy.
  3. see my avatar imo he comes off as a guy who is likeable as long as things are going his way (win or lose). Once it's not about him...or if it's about what he's not doing well the shine comes off.
  4. Walters won't be asking you either.
  5. The Back up QB in 2025 will be Terry Wilson and Dolegala with Streveler coming in late in the year.
  6. At an all time level lol....holy hell man.
  7. I remember that quote, because right after he mentioned how he's seen great performances out of guys when they were allowed to be great, or given the opportunity to be great...and it riled me up because the guy who should have been given that opportunity was the MOP/MOC.
  8. Honest question...how many new faces (that start/become solid contributors) do you think a team should be bringing in every year? And how many of those new faces should realistically be considered "all stars" for you to be happy with the recruitment? Also this idea that other teams off casts shouldn't be seen as a find is bizarre. That's literally how this team was built. Either FA signings like Bryant (Which was an obvious homerun signing at the time). Or signing cast offs who other teams gave up on. (Yoshi, Nichols, Collaros, Taylor etc.) Good scouting doesn't just mean bringing in pure rookies.
  9. Once Buck was the OC and Collaros was the QB our O changed. For sure. I'm not convinced we will see a lot of change with the new OC due to Collaros' style of play. Ideally we use Brady a bit more in passing situations (yes I'm talking check downs lol) but outside of that, I still think we will see a lot of those 20 yarders you were talking about. Which has been the teams bread and butter in the passing game outside of last season. Augustine, Kramdi and Lawson are different just due to the passport. Rose was a solid vet who you could argue was still one of the better DBs on the team before that season. My point was more Jones hasn't really done anything to get a huge pay raise.
  10. I feel like that was in large part because of Zach/other key players coming into their own. Why would they break the bank?
  11. generally speaking...it's round 2-6 where you find the gems in the CFL draft. Round 1 is likely the biggest guessing game
  12. Regardless of who comes in, I don't think we see that much change in the offensive system.
  13. McManis will not be making it to Free agency.
  14. I didn't even get past the first paragraph of that article. (your welcome for the clicks Hodge). I'm not sure MOS has ever signed a new deal when he still had 1 year left on his current contract. I honestly can't remember when it comes to Walters but I think it's been similar. So Hodge wrote an article about things being the way they've been for the past....6? at least 6....years in terms of GM/HC contract negotiations. **** I gotta start writing....
  15. Have they ever signed long term?
  16. No has more wins than Winnipeg from 2016-2024.
  17. In pro sports. If you're not changing you're not getting better. That's not to say all change is good or will result in better performances. Which is why that line of work can be so cut throat. But it still stands. IF they keep things exactly as they are. The bombers will be worse next season.
  18. I know a lot of people like Bailey for his emotions and energy. But he just comes off as performative and almost insincere to me. And always has. I will say it's a bit frustrating that he wasn't picked up by the Bombers, but at the same time I could see how his energy may not have always worked. That speech to the kids just amplified the self importance that seems to ooze from him. It's weird cause I usually like that type of energy in a player/person....but with him it just comes off a corny more often than not.
  19. I don't think he's safe from criticism. But if anyone thinks MOS job is on the line this year they're bananas. Not a chance in hell they move on from the coach with the most wins in franchise history the year they host the cup. Say what you want about him but that's just not going to happen. Yeah Farhan they dont need permission from BC to speak to a coach who is no longer employed.
  20. It really should...solid regular seasons mixed with an all time one. 2 grey cups in 3 years. That's pretty solid imo.
  21. I 100% believe that's the end goal of this current run. Which is both great and worrisome lol. Worrisome because it's obvious some guys shouldn't be kept but also....who says goodbye in 2026...from players/coaches/management etc.
  22. I desperately want Bighill to retire and become a coach. I don't want him on any other team (not because of his play sadly, but he's been absolutely awesome in the community in WPG. Especially around youth sports) and I don't want him playing on the bombers. Hopefully he realizes the $$ just isn't there and that coaching is his best way to stay around the sport.
  23. With all due respect. There's no way anyone but the coaches know if WJ deserves a raise or not. Did he perform above expectations given his role? No one on here knows the answer to that. It's obvious he wasn't being used as a traditionally DE. So we can't use traditional stats to say whether or not he played above his expectations.
  24. I can't fault him. I bet he may end up regretting saying that to the media cause I'm sure it'll be spinned...but I like that he said it. Hopefully it's another wake up call for everyone that changes need to be made.
