  1. Schoen has 68 receptions to Ryhmes 82. lol
  2. Right, I know he would still be their property. But because he still has 1 year left on his contract, would he be required to play under it? Or sign a new one with BC?
  3. So if he gets NFL interest...and is signed to an NFL roster...but later released and decides to come back, he would be BCs property correct? If so, would he be obligated to play under the 3rd year of his contract? Or could he sign a new deal? And what if he misses the entire 2023 CFL season?
  4. If BC lets him go for the NFL, is he still obligated to resume his contract if/when he returns? Or will he be allowed to sign a new one?
  5. Oh he did sign a 3 year deal. I thought he was on a 2 year. This makes his possible "too soon return" even more risky for BC. I wonder if that changes if he is released to pursue the NFL?
  6. I mean...they were literally a fluke last play of the game away from winning. Jordan should have caught that ball and I'd guess 8 out of 10 times he does. The narrative that we kicked their ass isn't true if they were that close to winning. No one wins because they put up big yardage. They win because they scored enough points to win. CGY was very close to us in that category.
  7. I gotta wonder why @TBURGESS would disagree with this...?
  8. I kinda agree with you on this...but for arguments sake...Ellingson isn't starting his career, he also wasn't being presented as the future superstar for not only the franchise but the league and without Ellingson the team isn't significantly worse like it would be if the Leos lost Rourke 1 game before the playoffs. Also add in the very real possibility for Rourke to make life changing money if the NFL comes calling...which would end if he gets hurt again. Obviously that window has closed on Ellingson.
  9. Correct, I disagree with the "big" drop off aspect of what you said.
  10. ticket sales never has and never will = butts in seats. Which is why the L'ks can say they had 20,000 people there.
  11. It's a down grade on paper. But the results tell a different story. Mcrae didn't light it up, but I'd argue Schoen likely wouldn't have the yardage he has if Ellingson played the whole year. There are only so many plays to be made.
  12. As much as I like the point you're making. This just isn't true. During the Reinbold days, crowds were often so small I was all alone in a upper deck section with my dad. We'd basically just go sit where ever we wanted up there. And once I was old enough he let me go down to the lower sections alone and I'd sit right behind the bench. We've had plenty of years with real bad attendance.
  13. No, if you watch the recent mini video of Wolly and Schoen talking about their relationship. Schoen says that once Ellingson went down he took over his role. McRae took Schoens spot.
  14. I'm guessing he doesn't know that Harris has been border line useless since his return....
  15. A big dropoff? You do know that Schoen took over his role right?
  16. I think we see the majority of starters play for the 1st half.
  17. tackle stats are flawed. Usually it means your Defence is on the field a lot and that usually isn't a good sign. That's not always the case, but it's not surprising to see teams that have bad offences also having the league leader in tackles on their D.
  18. I'm going to be there and I want it at least as cold as last year!
  19. Anyone else notice how many BC players where wearing long sleeves and face masks last night? I don't know how cold it was, but I can't find anything saying it was below zero.
  20. Evans beat the brakes off a Bomber defense. Cody has never come close to doing that. On top of that Hamilton has won 2 of their last 3. Dane has shown that he gets better once he's able to get over the adversity...Cody...well...we all know how that's going.
  21. Dane threw a TD pass against us. End of story. lol For real though, Fajardo is more consistently bad than Dane sure. Overall Dane has a far better skill set than Fajardo and it's honestly not even close. The only thing they're close in skill wise, is that neither seem to be able to handly much adversity or any at all...but even then, Dane has shown improvements there.
  22. Agreed. Dane isn't having a good season, but he's head and shoulders above Fajardo.
  23. Didn't you see? BC beat the bombers last week. They're now the best team in the league and the Bombers had better be worried!
  24. His season is over and that's basically all he has shown he's capable of caring about
